Product works awesome and allows you to keep the original BMW system, if you want to keep using it. Everything is literally plug and play, no wire cutting.Only issue that I ran into was finding a place for the actual system itself, which frustrated me and ended up adding 2 hours to installation. Had I watched a few other videos, I may have been able to keep installation to under an hour. I ended up putting it behind my factory screen.Ran into a few issues with functionality, however the guys at Road Top were extremely helpful!!Installation time: 1 hourEase of Use: Very EasyCustomer Service: Awesome

Excellent product, CarPlay functions perfect! I placed the box behind the screen, plenty of room. The radio harness was the hardest part to squeeze in but finally got it. Overall took me about 2 hours to complete, not too hard at all. My wife is thrilled to have CarPlay in her vehicle now!

Does not fit your 2008 BMW 335i coupe.

My wife loves it. This saved me a lot of money. A shop wanted like $2300 to install a CarPlay system in my wife’s car that would ha e changed the configuration because of the year of the vehicle. With this device nothing changed and she is loving the CarPlay.

I spend 6 hours installing the unit in my 2012 BMW 5 Series. went into every minute details to make it right. and it worked for couple of days . then every now and then the screen goes blank and comes back. very annoying. trying to get a response from the seller otherwise it would take me another couple of hours to uninstall it and return it.update as of 5/21/2021, I haven't received any response from the seller and that proves he is selling shaddy merchandize. please don't buy from him.

I have 2016 BMW 428i, I tried to use this device but for my series doesn't work. Screen is off.
