AvaCostume Women's Long Sleeve Double Pocket Slim-fit Jean Denim Shirt

I wanted a light colored soft denim shirt that I could wear alone or with a tank under it. I did size up hoping for a loser fit (xxl) and it’s perfect. I believe a size down (xl) would have a been a nice fitted look. I am 5’7 170lbs and have a long torso. It’s on the thicker side and will be great for fall, winter, spring in New England. May be a bit heavy for summer or warmer climate. The sleeves are really long; which I love but may be an issue for some people. It hangs just past my hips and as it’s lose fitting it doesn’t cling to my extra curves. Yay! The snaps close nicely and are well distanced apart so that there are no open gaps. It appears to be very well made and is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Planning to buy the darker color as well. LOVE this shirt!!!

It was actually a decent find. The only thing is that the sleeve buttons are starting to unlatch which isn't a huge deal to me. It fits great, I bought it as a cover up for my tanks and swim suit. It photographs nicely as well. I have done a few sessions with it and it's great! Love the color and fabric is pretty soft. If it was a bit cheaper I would totally order it again. I don't think it was worth $22 but $15 for sure.

I bought ( what I thought would be like the exact one I bought a couple of years ago. The dark Blue. I looked up my history and clicked on the very same denim snap shirt like had in the past. I made sure to click on the very same shirt. When I bought the other one before, it was perfect! When I received my new one it wasn’t the same at all. It wasn’t as dark and the fabric looked cheap. The photograph of the product was the exact one I ordered in the past. This time, the exact shirt has more of a tighter weave. It looks cheap..not the thicker denim like my previous purchase. When I called customer service, they told me that a different company makes them an that is the reason they look so much different than my original one. I really wish they would change the picture of what to expect. Honestly my original snap shirt had such a higher quality denim. Right before I called customer service to tell them my other shirt looked a lot different…I ordered another one thinking that possibly they sent me the wrong one, they assured me that indeed I picked out the exact one before. They canceled that new order for me immediately which was nice. I’m just so bummed it wasn’t the same shirt as before. I explained to them that the company should change the photo of the shirt that it’s definitely not what is pictured.

Nice, but the fit was just too long for me. I think a person taller than 5 feet 2 inches would be a better fit.

I sized up seeing that most people said it runs small ... but, in its description, it does say "slim-fitting" . I like the dark color ... classic vintage look, but not "worn out" look. Some people prefer the thicker denim material, but I feel like the lighter & thinner material is best for travel. When you travel a lot, the cummulative weight really matters. I like having options, so the light-weight material makes it possible to pack other dresswear options & footwear options. It's versatile with whatever vibe you're going for.

I ordered this in a medium as I am in between sizes of SMALL/MEDIUM, and the fit in the picture looked more fitted. I ordered the "Light blue" color (NOT the "A-Light Blue" color which is definitely darker and more blue) because I wanted the lightest blue possible. The picture of not only the color but the fit was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I received it and it was closer to the other shades of blue offered. The fit was also a loose fit instead of a fitted fit, AND it was definitely NOT denim. Although I was bummed it wasn't a typical denim to keep its shape better, I will say it was definitely more comfortable in the elbow area. Easier to move your arms about. The fabric is basically cotton, no stretch, no shape, very boxy, and not what I wanted. I ordered an exchange, asking for the color I originally ordered (based on other's reviews and seeing they had received this color), and AGAIN got the same problem. I would give them 1 star, but gave them an extra star for sending me the replacement super quick (within one day). I'm bummed to be returning this again. Really wish I had received what I ordered based on the photo as it was hard to find in the first place. Good luck!
