Toyota TRD 6-Speed Shift Knob

I thought it was white, but it's gray. anyway it looks good, they should have more colors because it's great

Fit well with my 3rd gen 6 speed tacoma. However:1) Need to use a new boot cover/retainer. I used "DEWHEL Shift KNOB Boot Retainer/Adapter for Manual Gear Shifter Lever 12X1.25 (Black)" also available here on Amazon. You have to take apart the center console panel in order to do this (very easy to do, no screws just pulling on some plastic)2) I used to use some plumbers tape along the screw threads of the lever, because when you twist the knob the designs (the TRD logo, the gear shift map) don't line up straight, it went past center about 30-45 degrees. So I put some silicone plumbing tape at the base to prevent it from twisting all the way down and "locking it" into place right in the the middle so the graphics would be straight.Other than that it feels great in your hand and 1000x better than the original shift knob. Whole changing process took about 10 minutes, with the majority of it trying to get the logos to line up straight.

I ordered this shift knob as I could not find another that fit my Tacoma correctly. Thought it was ugly in the photo however, needed a new shift knob (mine was worn out). I could not be happier!!! Absolutely love this shift knob! It looks amazing and love the feel. Fits like it should! This is the real deal!!

Very classy old-school shift knob like I used to remember. You can never go wrong with them because the shifting becomes enjoyable and more controllable. This is a quality product. I would 100 percent recommend it. On 3rd gen Tacoma, I secured the boot with a 5/8 rubber grommet from Home Depot. It works flawlessly.

This fit my 2022 Tacoma just fine. I purchased this to improve the functionality and feel of the manual shift knob.I’m happy with this product but it’s overpriced. I would recommend despite the cost.

I like this shifter knob. It is an OEM part (hence the high price). One thing to note is that it is not white. It's gray. It still looks good but it's hard to tell from the seller's photos that it is in fact gray, especially when it's listed as white. Not a big deal.I put it on my 2021 Tacoma and it screws on just fine. I don't know why it says that it won't fit. Overall, it's WAY better than the stock shifter knob.

I got this to replace the worn out shift knob on my 2015 Tacoma. Installation was easy; if you can screw in a light bulb, you can install this knob. Shifting feels a little better with this larger knob and I love the look of it. There's nothing to wear out and should last longer than the truck. This should be the stock shift knob on all manual Toyotas.

Better than oem leather. Comfortable and fits well with the interior

This ball is the perfect replacement for the stock knob! I drove with the stock knob for several years and began to find two main issues with it:First, I found that I was never really comfortable grabbing the shifter when I was moving to and from the even number gears. Whenever I pushed into the even gears, it would cause my hand and wrist to kink to get a good handhold.Second, my hand was rubbing the shift boot enough that the shift boot was beginning to show premature wear on the leather.After installing the new knob, the TRD shift ball moved the shift knob up high enough that I no longer rubbed my hand on the boot, and I had much more solid control over my shifts as I could easily get a solid handhold. Shifts feel more substantial and shift control feels great!

The colour is a bit misleading. It’s a darker grey than the picture would lead you to believe. But it still works well with the interior colour scheme. Quality is great. Thread pitch is a perfect fit on the 2020 Tacoma stick. The lock nut is chrome. Good product.

Quality TRD product as per usual. Perfect feel for drivers with larger hands. Shifting feels perfect over my oem Tacoma shifter
