The Gold Bug is an awesome coin shooter. Just set the detector to "all metal mode" and set the discrimination to 70 and it will reject almost all trash and only detect coins. I am still learning how to detect other items but coins are so easy. I stopped at a local park on the way to work this morning using the machine for the second time and in just over 1 hour this is my total haul = 14 dimes and 30 pennies, a tiny pin, a machine screw and a small piece of hardware. I also have a Garrett Pro Pinpointer that helped with quick recovery. After shooting 44 coins in 75 minutes as a noob I highly recommend the Gold Bug.
