They fit well and I like them. I don't know how protective they are. How does one know until or unless they get hit with something. That hasn't happened. So I assume they are doing their job. I use them for weed whacking and like the wrap around design that keeps the debris out of my eyes.

These are good quality

I use them daily as a Material Handler. They are lightweight but very strong in material. The ear pieces fit comfortably behind the ear with no added pressure from working 10 to 12 hour shifts. I operate dock stockers forklifts and order pickers handling metals, hoses, industrial hoses and various other materials in my daily job and they are tough the lens have with stood being starched or niked. I have dropped from high picking levels the lenses held strong no scratches as well as the frames themselves. I have anti fogging wipes available to me at work and I have no need to use because when wearing them out in the elements and returning back to the warehouse lens have yet to fog and affect my vision. The lightweight durablility and snug fit male them ideal to perform my job.

Ok, so not too many people probably look good in safety glasses. They are either cheap looking, bulky or ill fitting. So its natural to avoid them despite the obvious fact that they are there to protect your eyeballs. We know this and yet we still tend not to wear them as often as we should. A few weeks ago I had a near miss incident though. I work with a lot of corals and some of them contain a powerful neurotoxin that can cause death. I know this. I have even seen pictures of other hobbyists that have lost an eye because they got squirted while trying to frag the coral. But the safety glasses I had were all the aforementioned things and also very blurry so I never wore them. Well, of course I had a near miss while working on a tank. Right before I cut into the coral I heard that voice in my head saying put the glasses on and then the other voice saying you can barely see out of those anyway. Sure enough two seconds later I was running to the sink to flush my eye out. The images of how that other guy lost his eye flying thru my mind and that voice yelling, "You damn fool! Seriously we are going to go blind because you didn't want to wear glasses. Just like that our life is going to do a 180 because you were stupid." Well, I had 2 bad days and got no sleep. Thankfully I still have my eyes. So I bought these thinking, "Ok if I'm going to buy another pair then let's make them DeWalts. I am pretty happy with my tools" They arrived today and fit perfectly. But the best and most unexpected thing about them is that they are so damn clear. I had to pull them off just to see if the lenses were even there. No glare or weird refraction. Absolutely like I wasn't wearing any glasses at all. They are comfortable and light. Yes, they are the DeWalt colors and obvious to others that I'm sporting gear...but they fit well and there is NO reason I won't wear these from now on. The only con I really have is that I need a case for them. But at this price its unreasonable to expect them to come with a case so I'll find something to protect them in my tool box/bag.

It’s inexpensive, light weight and wrap around to have more protective coverage but it’s a little uncomfortable behind the ears. Size wise, it’s definitely a no go for melon head.
