not a begginer book
This is a great travel book for those interested in that. If your intrested in crystal skulls this is a great story about the author's expierances with her skull and travels to south america. It dosen't contain any how to healings or meditations so if you want to try that you will have to try some of the other books out there.

Lots of insight
I personally loved this book, and am considering buying it as a reference. Some of it is a bit out there, but it was well written, and the author did a lot of travel for her research.

garbage
I haven't read this book, because I wouldn't waste my time doing so, but it is clear that this is a load of crap based on the title and author bio. There is NO evidence that crystal skulls were made by the Maya or any other PreColumbian society. This book is written by someone who is not a specialist in Maya culture or religion. If you are looking for a book about the Maya, look at reputable authors-there are any number of eminently qualified individuals widely published to speak on the subject. All this book does is perpetuate a bunch of garbage about a culture, none of which is based in fact. Stop using Indiana Jones movies as a source of information. And stop slandering the Maya with this bulls***.
