Sportmix Wholesomes Medium Golden Grain Free Dog Treats, 4 Lb.

I've bought these several times as they are the best value for grain-free biscuits. They are 2.25 inches long and 0.75 inches wide (in the center) and about 3/8" thick. I generally like to break the biscuit into thirds - even though my 80 lb pitbull could easily eat it in one shot. It has a somewhat neutral smell so I could see why some dogs might hesitate or choose not to eat it. But my dog loves anything, so no problem there. So far the three bags I've purchased have had minimal breakage. I alternate these with a higher protein grain free biscuit as the carbohydrates are somewhat high. My dog has pretty bad skin allergies so when I switched to a grain-free, single source protein food I also wanted to switch to a grain free biscuit as well - and these worked just fine.

I have gotten these biscuits for a long time, all my little dogs love them! And they are certainly healthier than many commercial pet treat products. However, I just discovered that - contrary to what this listing lists as the ingredient panel (which is NO peas, legumes or potatoes) - it is dead wrong. It has peas, LOTS of peas. Pea flour, pea protein and pea starch. I am frustrated! I work hard and research diligently to provide healthy foods for my pet as per their health needs; and more so than ever since my dogs were ordered by a specialist Vet to have NO peas or legume products in their foods earlier this year. I saw on the listing for this product that they were completely pea-free; and so ordered a whole bunch. The ingredient panel on the bags received say quite to the contrary!So ... WARNING for dogs who can not have peas or legumes. The ingredient panel listed here is WRONG! Lots of pea flour, fiber. Otherwise, a great product if peas and legumes are not a health issue for your dogs.

We have English Bulldog, Yorkie, and a Lab and they love them I feed them grain free food and decided to look for grain free Treats, found these at a GREAT price!

Our dogs seem to like these all natural dog biscuits! Very happy to give them a higher quality product that they seem to enjoy. We are happy to find this better quality dog treat!!

Sportmix wholesomes are enjoyed by all 3 of my furbabies! They are a great grain free "cookie" and they are cost effective as well.

I ordered Sportmix Wholesome Medium Golden Grain Free 4 Lb. dog treats from Amazon two times. The first bag was fine, it was what I ordered. The second bag came on 12/6/21 it was not what I ordered. It was a 3 Lb bag of reformulated ingredients that was not grain free, the first ingredient is wheat. I payed $29.63 for them I thought a premium price for 4 Lb. of dog treats. Its outrageous for 3 Lb. When I contacted the Co. they said that they sent me what I ordered and that they reformulated the ingredients but did not say anything about the one pound less. The 4 Lb. sport mix grain free is still advertised on Amazon. This is false advertising. It sounds to me like good old US of A. Pay More and Get Less. They said I could return the treats but I wonder if I would get my money back from a company that blatantly misrepresents their products.

My dogs love them...and they are grain free..fresh and wholesome. .the best cookie for the value. .been giving them to my 4 dogs for years..
