Great value, works so well. It's heavy and feel like quality. We use this for engineering design and trust it completely.

DO NOT BUY. I used the EDMS Data Acquisition Software from Shimpo's website and while the FG 3008 was plugged into the computer, it died and wouldn't turn back on. I returned it and got a new one, only to have the same thing happen. This company's software basically killed the product. I contacted their technical support and they were rude, uninformative, and overall a very crude excuse for support.
