CocoBear Infrared Thermometer ,Digital Forehead Thermometer No Touch Thermometer for Fever

I purchased this item as my wife is a teacher and thought she could check the kids as they come in the classroom, however Kirklees Council won't allow this so the item is redundant. We have tested this item against other temp readers and it is extremely accurate, nice and lightweight and very easy to use with the clear readout.

I have got a normal thermometer but it is fiddly si I wanted to get an infrared one that they are now using in restaurants.I dediced to get the cocobear one due to the good reviews and at a reasonable price.It is so easy to use, just put two AAA batteries in and the trigger the bottom is the on/off and one press off the top approx 5to10cm from the forehead and you get your reading.It is so easy to use and easier than a normal one.Now my daughter is checking everything and we have found the radiator is too hot and her toys are too low!!!

Good value and accurate temp checks

Bought this digital thermometer at the start of the pandemic. It is very quick and easy to use. I have an elderly mother and it is easy to check her temperature without having to put a thermometer in her mouth or under her arm.Seems to be accurate, so all in all happy with purchase. Quite expensive but good for peace of mind.

Started off working OK for a couple of hours, then told me low battery.. Changed batteries and evertime you scan for head, saying low battery and cuts off... Feels very cheap and plasticity..

In my estimation this thermometer is not fit for purpose, but I could have been unlucky. I purchased 2, 1 for my household and another for a member of the family. Trying them out on arrival I noticed that there was a discrepancy in the readings obtained when using both on the same person/site.I took them to work and carried out a comparison with accurate thermometers. The readings were so different that in my estimation they could be considered dangerous.An example: In one instance I compared them on an individual with a temperature of 38.5. 1 thermometer gave a reading of 36.8, while the other was 35.5.This could have a very detrimental effect on the speed with which medical advice would be sought.

This product is very easy to use and give accurate readings. The only comment would be that it's disappointing, given the price of this product. that it does not come with the batteries required.

Bought this infrared thermometer for checking the temperature of the kids now they're back at school.The temp range is 32c - 42.2c so is only useful for humans, it won't display the actual temperature of anything higher or lower instead showing HI and LO on the screen. Above 42.2 the unit lights up as a 'fever warning'.Solidly built and easy to use but requires 2 AAA batteries as these are not supplied. Recommended to anyone wanting that peace of mind at this time.
