Excellent choice for my Solar powered project
UPDATED:6/12/17: I bought a second one b/c I wanted to see what happened with the first one and needed a new one anyway. In my updated opinion ,this is really the best game in town when it comes to powering Arduino projects. The reason I updated to five stars from two is that I found that it was the motor controller that was short circuiting. The problem was the in-line fuse (thermal auto-reset) was not reacting fast enough to the short allowing the short to affect the power supply. The Talentcell started to overheat, which in turn caused the Talentcell to shutdown power to all power ports. So based on my non-scientific observations, the Talentcell "reacted" to the short by shutting down power.6/917When I first bought this for my project I was excited. The battery life was within realistic expectations, the battery cells top notch. Everything was running well until today. I noticed that my project had stopped working. I checked the TalentCell unit and the Capacitors -there are two of them right over the 12v input/output - were extremely hot. Also the acrid smell of smoldering electronics was strong. So I did a test. I let the unit cool off. Then I tried the 9v side. Everything works ok no overheating. Next I try plugging in the project to the 12v side. Turn battery unit off, then turn on. All four green lights come on as well as the red light. After a few seconds the capacitors start to heat up. Then the green lights start to go out one by one until just the red is remaining. This happened when I was consuming electricity only, not powering and consuming. The project is a simple weather station powered by a solar panel (25watt - 1.54A rated - 1.4A actual). The Arduino weather station side is powered by the 9v power supply to a step down regulator that can take any voltage from 7v to 15v and bring it down to 5v needed for the project. The solar panel tracking motor is powered by the 12v side. The motor uses a 5a auto-reset fuse. I put that in there to prevent stall current spikes, but in testing the motor never went over 1A. The solar panel feeds into a Li-ion Mppt charge controller and then to the 12v (using the y connector included with Talent Cell battery). The motor is a 3000rpm 12v .58A Brushed motor.I really want this to work. I would love to hear from the company to get their input on this to see if I had a faulty board or if there were too many charge cycles for this unit. The batteries are still rocking and seem unaffected.

game-changer
This battery pack has been a game-changer for my 360 photobooth business! The Talentcell Rechargeable Battery Pack provides reliable, long-lasting power throughout events, even when running multiple devices like lights and cameras. It’s compact and easy to transport, making my setup quick and hassle-free. The different output options (12V, 9V, 5V) give me the flexibility to power everything I need without any issues. If you’re in the event industry and need a dependable power source, this is definitely the one to get!

Mostly Happy
I got this in January and have been using it to power a security camera on my garage that doesn't have electricity run to it and the battery capacity is amazing and I have only had to charge it weekly. My only complaint is the first time I tried charging a bluetooth speaker off of it the plastic tab inside the USB port snapped off which rendered that port unusable. Other than that I have been very impressed with it

Hip Hip Horray for 2 Parallel Power Banks!
This is my 2nd 12V/11000mAh Talentcell. The first one is working so well that I purchased another to daisy chain them together for longer battery life of my project. Yes you can use a splitter cable to connect both 12V ports together. They will connect in parallel meaning your voltage stays at 12V. They do NOT daisy chain in series (making it 24V). This is the way it should be. We can all purchase multiple of these power packs and add more battery life to our projects. Same applies for the 9V ports. They can be daisy chained in parallel yey!Note: do not ever daisy chain the 12V to the 9V in parallel that wouldn't be smart. The plugs are different and won't allow you to anyway.I accidentally over amped it on multiple occasions and it immediately shuts off. Turn the power off then on and it comes right back to life. Excellent electronics design. The case looks a bit home-made but trust me, this is the best power bank on the market.I wish it had a dedicated 12V input port on the back instead of sharing one with the 12V output. It makes my project look like a spaghetti monster of cables with the splitters. Also I wish there was a much larger 12S, 14S, 16S, or 18S model to choose from. I now have 2 of these so I have 18 cells. Had they offered an 18 cell version (preferably in the same 2 row configuration just longer) I would have purchased that to begin with for a monster 22000mAh power bank.I can now run my project (super low power Intel Compute Stick laptop avg 130mA) for 48 hours continuously. It can be considered similar to a Raspberry Pi laptop (PiTop). Think about that... when is the last time you heard of someone being able to use their laptop for 2 days straight on a single charge? Probably never. Great power bank. So impressed with it I came back for a 2nd.
