Sharper
The business I am in requires a lot of cutting tools and the first thing that impressed me was that the blades are sharp. The can almost whittle hair which is very impressive for a disposable blade. Sharper than every #11 or #2 hobby knife blade. Sharper than several scalpel brands I have tried. The only things sharper are my leather knives if I put the effort into it, Cynamed scalpel blades and double bladed safety razor replacement blades. The handle is all metal and holds the blade front to back. This allows a slight wiggle from side to side. Contrast with the X-Act handle which doesn't have side to side but wiggles front to back. Any handle design with two contact points is going to wiggle. The handle weighs more than the X-Act handles, even the one for #2 blades. But is not magnetic. So it is probably not aluminum. I don't see any issues with the threads stripping or holding the blade.I've only cut with this thing for one day and it is holding up and I am happy for it for very delicate cutting. It is not robust enough for anything that is thick like saddle work. But for the finer details I am liking this one and the point hasn't broken yet like what happens with the #11 and #2 hobby blades when cutting leather.

Best made all metal chuck craft knife
We all know Japanese make pretty awesome tools. 24 year Veteran Carpenter here. Looking thu all the choices to upgrade from my standard Xacto Knife this was the best. There's a Olfa standard yellow version good quality, superior construction to most others, but I liked this "Limited Edition " knifes construction and look best. I bought a 2nd one, after having used the first one for awhile. The safety cap is also much better than any other out there. I searched every where. Thicker and fits farther don't the knifes shaft. So I have 2 different blade/ knifes ready to use. Also Japanese steel and sharpness, as in Blades for my knifes is also far better quality. It's definitely a costs more but far better quality and sharpness. Olfa makes top quality knifes. PS I should be getting a thank you from them, smiles !

Excellent for 3D printed model kits
Firstly I want to start off by saying, these blade by Olfa have got to be one of the sharpest if not the sharpest blades I've ever used. They slice and shave off plastic sprues from my model kits extremely well and I haven't found another blade quite like it that can do the same with little effort.I'd also like to point out the blade's handle is very well balanced and has a wonderful feel/weight to it. It seems to be made of mostly all metal. Given it's hefty-ish weight, that makes sense for sure.I included what I'm currently working on below the blade itself to give an example of what kind of stuff I work on for further context. I absolutely love this knife and it'll for sure be my new go-to for anything and everything that needs cutting and/or touch ups.

This is the best hobby knife in existence and an incredible bargain!
This is hands down the best hobby or trade knife you will ever find. I've used virtually every brand I could find and Olfa beats them all. It doesn't stop there, however. This is the limited edition version. It has the same best-in-industry locking mechanism for the blade as other hobby Olfa hobby knives, but this one comes with a weighty aluminum handle instead of the standard yellow plastic. That matters because it offers a completely different weight bias on the knife. This one feels substantial in your hands, much heavier than an aluminum bodied X-Acto. Better still, the weighting is absolutely perfect for balance. If there is one thing the Japanese understand, it's how to make a perfectly balanced knife. This is the Kikuichi of hobby knives, but you aren't paying $300 for it.That brings up the most astonishing fact about this knife. I paid $10.35 to have this shipped from Japan. It came with 20 spare blades, which alone cost about $8. The non-limited edition knife alone usually sells for $7 at Michael's and shipping from Japan must cost about $3. I honestly cannot understand how they are not losing money on this deal. Not only is this the best hobby knife in existence, but it's also one of the greatest bargains! There is one drawback, you cannot find this knife anywhere in the USA. They are all imported from Japan. It took about two months to receive mine and I began to think it was lost. If you are willing to wait, you too can feel the difference for yourself.

Exceptional Knife
I build Custom Made Fishing Rods and I need exceptional tools to help me deliver the highest quality product that I'm capable of producing! This Olfa Limited Series Cutter Art Knife is the finest in the field, without a doubt! When you first pick it up, you'll know it is definitely different. Everything they put into the making of it, is evident as it is substantial. Plus, no other art knife holds blades as securely as the Olfa. And, the blades are as sharp as their famous rotary cutters. I use this for many things but, primarily, for slicing thread flush with the thread it's tied under. In the past I had to use single edged razor blades, nothing else could make the grade...until this knife.

Excellent quality and value
Other reviews are correct when they say you get a ton of blades with this. It feels like a hefty and great in hand, like a high quality tool, and looks beautiful. With all of the included blades it's also a great value. Crazy dangerous sharp too. I also prefer the black over the yellow. Why bother getting the cheap knockoff?

Only Knife I Use
I spend considerable time cutting stencils for art and this is by far the best hobby knife I have used. Like other reviewers note it is the weight in the handle that allows it to feel so natural in the hand.
