In Harm's Way [1965] - The Classic John Wayne Collection by Kirk Douglas, Patricia Neal, Tom Tryon, Paula Prentiss John Wayne

Another John Wayne film I like, a little romance involved but anything dealing with Naval warfare I enjoy watching, even though at times a little far fetching, still a good film. Since having this film, I can see it from the very begining I always missed the first 15 or so minutes.

I prefer my world war 2 films to be about actual events. So that's why I gave this Blu-ray release a 4/5 .As a movie it's a great watch. Nowhere on the case tells you what aspect ratio the image is. It's at least 2:35.1 so nice and wide.The picture is black and white and looks really impressive. The story starts at the time of the December 7th attack on Pearl Harbour but then goes off on its own tangent.I find the synopsis on the back to be a little misleading as the story doesn't stay on the Pearl Harbour attack for as long as it suggests.I must confess, the missions they undertake in the latter half of the film could be based on reality but are more likely in a very roundabout way, loosely based on reality.I was surprised that there is a 5.1 Dolby True HD surround mix but it's a pretty good mix and adds nicely to the viewing experience.Over all a great Sunday afternoon's viewing and worthy of your collection.

action packed for an old film, very enjoyable to watch, sat with my mother who is 86 years old she loved it

This product was delivered quickly and the film was for myself which I didn't think I would be able to get this title.

If you like war films you must get this one it is excellent, if you like John Wayne this is one of his best. I cannot recommend it more, its a long film be never lets you slack an excellent buy highly recommended

Good quality product, reasonably priced, and delivered promptlyMovie is a bit off-putting. Wayne is his classic self. Kirk Douglas must have had a provision in the contract to have an 'important line' in every scene he's in. He plays a real creep and is rather cavalier about it. But all in all a classic Wayne and well worth the watch (if you can ignore Douglas character, or lack of)

While I haven’t watched video yet, the timing of delivery was on time
