Looks good, but post hole is slightly bigger than I expected
They look well built. It looks like it was made from a single piece of copper pipe, flared at one end for easy insertion of the cable, then flattened, rounded, and drilled/punched at the other end for connection to the terminal. Overall it looks like a nice design to me -- simple, with good features, and minimal contrivances or 'obvious' failure points.Measuring the flat part, the cross-sectional area of over 22mm^2 looks correct for 4AWG. Some quick (and admittedly less accurate) measurements lead me to believe the other end has a similar cross-sectional area. However, since the post hole is so big relative to the width of the flat part, little current will carry to or come from the side of the flat part that is opposite where the wire goes. Be sure the conductive part of the pad and bolt around the post are as wide as that end of this connector and that you have the model that just fits your post, and you should be okay.I ordered CUR4516, which should accept 4AWG cable. I am using welding cable, with many fine strands, so this probably affects the way it sits together, but this terminal looks like it has a fair amount of slack space between the cable and where it goes, and my crimping tool would require two crimps to cover the entire cable end, so that is what I will probably do, to make sure it is held as firmly as possible. Adding heat-shrink tubing makes for a nice finish, but does little to hold things together. Also, the CUR4516 model should accept 5/16 inch diameter posts, but the hole is a little larger than I would have preferred for that. I found the holes to be about 11/32, about halfway between 5/16 and 3/8. I ordered 5/16 to allow some extra room for my 1/4 posts, but I plan to go back and use the CUR414 model for this project instead, since it seems these already have a little extra room built in on that side. The extra space probably just makes things easier for the user, but I was expecting the measurements to be 'true' instead of having some slack, and I do not like 'loose' fits on connectors. The image I see for the item on Amazon right now is correct in form, but I think not detail -- based upon the ratio of the post hole to the flat end, I suspect that it is showing the CUR414 instead.

defintely worth the $$$
i bought these so I could make terminations on my wiring. both end are very manageable , with the crimp end easily able to crimp w/ot much effort and right tools. I only needed about 10 total, but for the price, doesn't hurt to have a few extra laying around for future projects/needs.. Did the job for me..

Great deal
Can't beat the great deal on these. Cheapest I've found basically. The copper rings seem to have great quality. I haven't tried crimping yet, but I've soldered my wire into these and had no issues. It fit snugly around my true 4 AWG wire and didn't try to slip off as I worked, which was great. My only complaint would be that the whole to bolt it down through is a little small. I had to file it out to be a bit larger for my application. It did fit fine on the battery terminal bolt though.

Good value
These are decent, for the money. I would recommend. They worked great with my 4 gauge welding cable and soldered nicely.

the terminal's are well made and the price is great. I didn't get a discount for the review
I use the terminals to connect my 12 volt battery bank , 6 12 volt battery's in parallel , then I use 02 wire to the inverter , I also bought the lead slug's to solder my wire to my terminals. bought the 4 gauge wire ,red and black all on amazon, I use the reviews before ordering, it works for me, the terminal's are well made and the price is great. I didn't get a discount for the review,,

Good price, work great!
These have worked great. The eyelets are larger than the picture indicates, which I was expecting since these are 5/16" versions, not the smaller one shown. I use these in my off-grid solar system with bulk AWG 4 cable, as it is far less expensive to crimp your own cables than buy the pre-made battery cables. Ther is a 15 dollar tool avaaible to crimp these, but i just used the vertical edge of a trailer frame along with a hydraulic jack. Worked great.

Low cost terminals
Not to say that is a bad thing - low cost YES - not as heavy duty as the ones I get locally ( but then again they don't cost me $1.55 EACH as those do) They WORK - they do crimp EASILY - my Hobart 770122 Lug Crimper I bought also here on Amazon squishes these things FLAT lol , the "problem" I have with these is I bought five different sizes of them on one purchase but all five purchases came in separate packages? and the really bad part is each pack of 25 terminals came in it's own box big enough to hold like 5000 of them.Overall they are an acceptable product ( have not melted one yet lol ) if needed I would buy them again, I just hope they would ship them all together as three of the boxes shipped the SAME day from the same warehouse?

Its hard to find these all copper terminal rings anymore.
I am a big fan of this style terminal! you can use it for so many different applications.ConsA bit pricy compared to the price of copper. I understand there is money to be made and manufacturer costs but they could be a bit cheaper. The hole could be a bit larger. I had to drill out the hole in a few of them to get a bolt to go through them.ProsMultiple usessolid copper!

Good quality, good price.
I used these to convert my van into an RV. Had to run a bunch of 4 gauge wire from the front batter, to a rear battery and then to the electronics in the back. I used a set of booster cables. All I did was put one in a vice, heat it with a torch to drop in some solder, then suck the end of the wire in it, then i tightened the vice. None of them have even come close to failing whatsoever. Way cheaper than buying from the store.

They fit perfectly on my true 4 gauge cable & solder very easily. If you plan on crimping
They seem to be very high quality & durable. They fit perfectly on my true 4 gauge cable & solder very easily. If you plan on crimping, buy a hydraulic crimper. You won't be sorry with the professional looking crimps. I personally prefer solder method for much cleaner looking cables. 25 pack is a great deal considering what you'll pay from any local shop!

Great price compared to packaged two packs in big stores.
Seem like good quality copper. Crimp nicely. Price per unit is very attractive. Leftovers for future projects.

Worth it!
Used these to wire up my 4 gauge amplifier wire. Great quality. Crappy Tire tried to charge $5 for 2!
