DR-05X Stereo Handheld Digital Audio Portable Recorder and USB Audio Interface, Pro Field, AV, Music, Dictation Recorder

Have been using mine every day for many years now, and I cannot find fault with my Tascam DR-O5. The sound quality is brilliant and the electronics are peerless. The only gripe is the cover for the battery compartment is poor and needs tightening up in design, apart from that - 10/10.

Works brilliantly - would be better with a head for the mic but it was in great order - it was pretty much new but the box was damaged which is fine as I got discount. Love this item :)

I’m using to record bird calls and song. The sound quality is excellent for a hand held recorder. I find it very easy to transfer recordings to laptop where I can analyse.

Unable to review as yet since neither a memory card nor a USB cable was included. Somewhat pointlessly, however, batteries were supplied. How hard would it be to state clearly what is and is not included so that one knows exactly what else might need to be ordered at the same time?! I shall update here when these irritations are solved but this has already reduced the upper limit of its ultimate star rating. Not happy.

When l got the product l was disappointed there was no microSD included and l had to buy it separately. In the description it says you can use microSDHC. So, l bought it and put it in and l still can't use the Tascam because it tells me there's a card format error!!!! Very annoyed... l can't give any star points as l can't use it!

le doy un 10, precio calidad, excelente grabador, muy facil de usar y excelente calidad de sonido que tiene lo recomiendo mucho y muy buen precio vale la pena

Bought this for my daughter few weeks back and she absolutely recorded a lot of things on the first week. The stereo sound is very good for a consumer product. compared to the size cassettes it's almost as small as one (in this photo the angle of the cassette is not properly placed), it's easy to pack up and carry around. connecting with USB and transfer files had no problems from her experience and neither did recording, though she did not learn about adjusting the input level until the third day she had it.

A qualidade de som é excelente em comparação a de câmeras ou celulares ou microfones 'de escritório'. Imagino que as versões mais avançadas do equipamento como DR07 ou DR40 sejam ainda melhores, mas este certamente já atende para a gravação amadora. A qualidade de som quando utilizado isolado é excelente, porém ela piora consideravelmente ao ser utilizado via USB diretamente, imagino que por a alimentação USB ser grande fonte de ruído, então a pesar de o equipamento oferecer esta funcionalidade, não é o modo de operação mais recomendado.
