For years, I've struggled with hormonal acne. I was able to control it through birth control pills, but I stopped taking them due to health concerns. I was given a medication to take that has made my hair fall out like as if I am on chemo treatments. It is terribly distressing to find your hair all over the house, everywhere you go. Brush my hair once and there is enough hair there like it used to take for a week to brush out that much. So I googled female hair loss and find out I am sure not alone. Many many people recommended using cod liver oil to strengthen and regrow the hair. So that is why I bought the cod liver oil, specifically. I have lost so much hair I finally had to discontinue the offensive med. So far, my hair is looking better. It was looking kind of like straw before. It is also much softer. As for regrowing, I can't say it looks like there has been any success so far, but I sure thought it was worth a shot. The fish oil is good for us anyway, so one way or the other, it is not a loss.
