This is an amazing book for any Packers fan, bought it for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it, although it will not be read probably, he will add it to his Packers collection. Great gift. thank you

Learning from the Master, HOF Coach Vince Lombardi. This book is an excellent inside look at the preparation a football tem makes for each opponent each week. Can be a business primer also for the game of life...be prepared. Excellent book.

Such a rare gem of a book, I was floored by it's great detail and was very happy with this book!! This 1963 publication written by Vince Lombardi, is sure to be missed by much of today's generation, and unfortunately so. Lombardi SHOWS why his Packers were the 60's greatest football dynasty, and how his life plays out during a week as the leader of the Packers. This is an absolute MUST read by ANY real football fan!!!

One of the best sports books ever. W.C. Heinz is a giant. I first learned of him when I read "The Rocky Road of Pistol Pete." Somehow I missed this until now.

Originally read this book 50 some years ago and it is still a great read. Good insight into the preparation for s game between the two best teams of that era.

Going to St. Norbert College in DePere, WI during the 1960s, I was always inthralled with Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers. I bought this book for my oldest grandson (13) to read and also be inspired by Coach Lombardi and The Pack. A great investment in helping to raise our grandson.
