Saucony Cohesion 7 A/C Running Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

My son has had these shoes for about a week...so far so good. The only reason I took off one star, is because the opening to slip your foot in is very small (even with the velcro strap pulled loose). The whole reason I bought these shoes, was because my son is always squishing the backs of his shoes when he puts them on...These shoes looked like they had more substance at the back of the shoe to prevent this. It does, but since the opening is small, he ends up pushing harder to get his foot in, and therefore ends up squishing the back of the shoe down. I'm hoping that when the shoes get "broken-in" a little more, this won't be as much of a problem.

I had to get my grandson some new sneakers and trying to find what he likes and what fits in shoe stores is a chore. So, of course, I went to Amazon and was able to find the style, size, non-marking sole and color that I thought he would like.Well, these Sauconys were just the ticket. I ordered these and a pair of New Balance but the New Balance came in the wrong size. It must have been my fault when I ordered them but, luckily my grandson didn't like them anyway. He saw the Sauconys, put them on and he was off and running. He's had them about a week now and I hope they are still okay. I'll keep checking with him to be sure but, also know that the shoues were packaged very well and were brand new. Love my Amazon!!!

Great shoes! My son had size 3 Sketchers (non-wide) before this. They were great too, but his toes were ready for new shoes. Normally I would just buy a 4 Sketchers, but those are hard to find. I decided because of his "wide" foot to for the first time get him wides at a 1/2 size bigger. These are great. I highly recommend them for kids that have wide feet. Be aware that if you are switching brands from a medium width you may not need to go a full size larger. It's hard to say depending on the brand you're switching from. Still highly recommend once you find the right size. I got lucky the first time! Hope this helps.

I bought these cohesion 6 to replace a pair of Saucony Cohesion 6 that I'd bought my son thru Amazon a month ago. These shoes usually hold up fine and have great support for kids with no arches. But the last pair I bought ripped in the back where the top of the shoe touches the back of the ankle. My son had only been wearing them a couple of weeks when they started coming apart. We've been buying Saucony shoes for years and got one bad pair so I'm not writing them off yet. Hoping it's not a case of reduced quality overall. I also wear this brand (women's running shoe) and have always been very pleased.

These were for my grandson who lives in CA, I live in AL. He loves his shoes. When his parents got shoes for him recently, he liked the bright blue Saucony shoes, but they got shoes that were not as colorful. He was disappointed, however, when trying to decide what to get him for his birthday, I remembered how much he wanted the Saucony shoes, so that is what I sent. He was really happy with my gift. Dreams come true sometimes.

These sneakers seem to run small. My son is currently wearing a size 10 in another brand of running shoe and I bought a 10.5 W in these. He could hardly squeeze his foot into it. The shoe is very rigid and doesn't have much flexibility. Maybe that would improve after wearing them for awhile, but I would prefer not to struggle to get them on. My son is four and likes to be independent, but these would give him trouble. I bought the same shoe in a larger size for his 6-year-old brother and they fit tightly on him as well. I will be sending both pairs back.The shoes look stylish and come in fun, bright colors. They seem to be well-constructed, just not the right fit for my sons.

My son has a wide foot so I always end up ordering his shoes. The local shoe store will fit him so that I know the "true size" but I usually end up ordering the shoe online as the local shoe store does not carry a variety of wide shoes for boys. I love the Saucony brand (so does my son) and we love the color of this particular shoe. This shoe is durable, well made, and comfortable. The design makes it easy for my son to bend his foot. My son is hard on shoes but even after a summer, these still look great.

I got these to replace my son's current gym shoes, not because they were too small, just worn out. These came in the mail and they fit snugger than his current shoes in the same size. I sent them back and got an instant credit from Amazon and am waiting for the replacement pair to be delivered. It was free and very easy to submit for a refund. I also bought a pair for my younger son in his next size up and he loves them.
