This is a quality product and the packaging and the actual container for the cod liver oil is customer friendly (especially since they updated the cap on the bottle). Excellent product in taste as well.

I was absolutely terrified to try this cod liver oil. I have tasted one other brand and it was rough. It gave my fish oil burps and tasted disgusting. However, I was committed to the cause for my health. After receiving it I was pleasantly surprised that it did not taste horrible. Other than the oily texture, there is really nothing to say against it. The lemon flavor covers almost all of the fishy taste and I can actually say it does not cause burps. I have even gotten to the point where I do not have to aggressively drink water to get the taste and texture out of my mouth. This is truly a really good product!

Have a Naturopath doctor friend who recommended I start taking CLO after explaining to me that Omega 3 deficiency is very common and that omega 3's are great for anti-inflammation. CLO is high in omega 3's, and fat soluble vitamins A, D, K. Unless we eat a lot of Alaskan Wild Salmon, herring, mackerel, or sardines -- we are deficient in Omega 3's. Our diets are commonly high in Omega 6's from industrial oils (canola, safflower, sunflower etc). Omega 3's support every cell in the body to function optimally. Omega 3's are protective for the brain, heart, nervous system, help balance hormones etc. One marked difference I noticed after taking CLO for a few months is that my complexion greatly improved! There's days where I use no foundation in my make-up regime. That's amazing! After sharing this with my friend, she said "can you imagine how your inner skin has improved as well?" I take a shot of this formula daily; it leaves no fishy aftertaste. Highly recommend and about to buy another bottle!

However, there's a significant downside to this product, and that's the dropper cap. It simply doesn't work as intended. It's supposed to make dosing easy, but in reality, it's more of a hassle. It's hard to squeeze, and even when I manage to get a drop, it's often inconsistent in size. To make matters worse, the dropper cap tends to get clogged, making it even more frustrating to use. After struggling with it for a while, I gave up and resorted to removing the cap entirely and using a regular spoon to measure out my dosage. This is a great choice for those who want to enjoy the health benefits of cod liver oil without the fishy taste. However, the dropper cap's poor functionality is a significant drawback that needs attention. If that issue were resolved, it would easily be a 5-star product.
