Reef Men's Sandals Marbea SL | Vegan Leather Flip Flops for Men, Tan, 14

I'm not usually one to give positive reviews, but I had to on this one. The Reef Marbea SL Flip Flops are easily the MOST COMFORTABLE FLIP FLOP I'VE EVER WORN.

I like these because they are light, comfortable, and well made. They're good for cruises, the beach, or just around the neighborhood. The sizing fit as described by the vendor.

I’ve been wearing this style of Reef for many years and they continue to be exactly what I need. Comfortable, quick to break in. Since receiving them I have worn them almost daily

So this is a 1 year follow up review- my initial impression was that these are very well made and very affordable. I haven’t had any issues with the straps as reported by others, then again, I try to avoid running in the them! I am a very heavy user of flip flops particularly in the summer time. I live in Florida and basically wear them whenever I’m off work virtually year around. My only complaint is that the top sole (the part your foot is on) has started to delaminate/bubble. It’s like a synthetic leather which is why it’s probably cheaper than it’s competitors. I frequently get my flip flops wet which I’m sure has fast-tracked the end of it’s useful life. It appears that a one year lifespan is all you can come to expect from the these shoes.

I have tried cheaper Sandles but Reefs are worth the money.

These are very durable, look great, and definitely waterproof. I've worn them for a year and don't really see any signs of wear.Update: After two and a half years wearing these, they finally started to wear. The leather on top is very thin and after being wet, and worn, it started to peel off. I just ordered a replacement pair since I loved them so much...but wish they lasted a bit longer.

I owned this style for 11 years! Let me say that again. 11 years! I am sure that is an anomaly. They weren't every day sandals but they did travel with me on all of my vacations and received a lot of worn time in the summers. When they finally had to be replaced I was pleased to find out Reef still made them. I ordered a new pair. Sadly, two years later the strap popped on me.I wasn't expecting another 11 years with these sandals but I was bummed to see these begin falling apart after my first summer with them. With that start to my experience with them I guess I should be happy I got two years out of them. I guess they really don't make them like they used to.

So far so good. The last pair of reefs I had I finally retired. Took over 10 years for the bottom to detach from the sole. I could have re glued them but I wanted a new pair. Solid flip-flop. They lasted longer then every work boot I've ever owned.
