The Clenz-a-dent that was delivered is different from the one that was sold to me and which I paid for. The one that was delivered showed the manufacturer as Ceva, not Sovegal. If the intention was to deliver a product of Ceva, why was it sold as being a product of Sovegal? Another issue is the stated benefit from using Clenz-a-dent by Sovegal. Sovegal clearly indicates Plaque Control, Tartar Control and Freshens Breath. The product by Cevo only indicates "Helps Clean Teeth and Freshen Breath. Plaque Control and Tartar Control are nowhere to be found in the Ceva packaging. I need answers, or I will return this at your expense.

Must Use Everyday
I don’t know about a fishy smell, slightly maybe, but it is made of seaweed...Started using for one of my rescue dogs who is home bound due to nerves - we have a house call vet for her, so anything we can do here to reduce her leaving the house is important. At six years old her teeth were becoming noticeably tartared. Been using this for a year now and there is absolutely a difference. I can only think the negative reviews haven’t used it long because it’s something you have to use on a long term basis to really see any results. I also give my kids CET chews in the blue bag, not the rawhide ones. Our vet told us about those a long time ago as they are one of the few products recommended by the VOHC. (FYI - Rawhide is a very bad thing to give any dog!)

I am using more than recommended - every meal a heaping scoop...
Updated: I do use more than the recommended amount (twice as much). Also, I started using in right after a dental; so we started clean and have remained so for 2.75 years. My dog used to get a dental EVERY YEAR. Now every time I see the vet, they look and say, "We could wait for her next check up." She's 10 years old and HAD REALLY BAD TEETH AND BREATH.This product is very effective for softening plaque for easy removal during brushing. My dog is doing so much haven't had to have a dental in 2 years and we used to get reminded every 6 to 9 months. No more bleeding gums either. I use a gauze wrapped finger to massage her teeth and gums and you can see the yellow come right off. My vet said the gauze was more effective than a brush.

My Vet recommended Clenz A Dent for my cat because he has bad teeth and bad breath. Since I have been putting it in his food every day he has not needed to have his teeth cleaned. That is expensive and traumatic for him. Easy to use!

I am really happy with the confirmed significant improvement in her dental health-- ...
Clenz A Dent, in combination with MAXI/GUARD Oral Cleansing Gel and PSCPets Dental Probiotics really helped my female Scottish Terrier with her apparent predisposition to dental placque and subsequent inflammation of the gums. I am really happy with the confirmed significant improvement in her dental health-- actually precluded the need for another teeth cleaning which she had had only six months prior. I cannot say which item contributed what percentage of the improvement in her teeth and gums, but I can say that literally after just a few weeks and in combination she is visually, and vet confirmed that she is clearly very much improved. They did recommend that I put her on a maintenance regimen of all three items-- which I am certainly happy to do as it has brought her relief and avoided a pricey and risky additional teeth cleaning.

Great for Potbellied Pigs!
Our vet recommended this product to us for use with our pet potbellied pigs as they are known to have major dental issues. We've been using it now for almost a month and so far so great! Their breath seems to smell much better and less food buildup around their tusks. I'm going to keep using and recommending it. Just purchased 3 more bottles. I'm sure it will also work for dogs and cats. If it works on potbellied pigs, it will work on any animal LOL

Recommended by my vet - seems to be working
This product was recommended to me by my vet. It also goes by the name "Plaque-Off." It was cheaper to buy from Amazon than from my vet. Made from seaweed, it has a slight fishy smell. I add it to my cat's wet food and they don't seem to mind it/notice it. A little goes a long way. This product is intended to be used in addition to, not instead of, regular dental cleanings. It helps keep the teeth cleaner for longer in between vet visits.

and the other one has been very good since using this product
Have been using this product for several years after expensive dental work for one of my cats. Dental health of that cat, and the other one has been very good since using this product. Amazon price is half of what the vet charges, so it is a very good deal.
