Does what I need it to do!!
Does what I need it to do. I used the reviews to help me use these to work best for me. As soon as I got them I stapled them together, since I live in central Texas and the sun is outrageously strong. The left side of my face has sun damage on it from driving (I have never had tinted windows). I was putting sunscreen on my face just for car rides for a while (since I am rarely outside in the sun), but it got annoying, being that it was just for car rides. So, I was thinking about getting my driver side tinted, but for the cost and the goofy appearance I decided to purchase these instead. When they are doubled they work GREAT!!! They don't fit my window perfectly... but that's a good thing because I can squeeze them into the window frame well, making it unnecessary to use the suction cups. They cover most of my window (2009 Civic Sedan). The past 2 days of driving (since they came in the mail) were awesome!! No more sunscreen for car rides & no more worries about additional sun damage to the left side of my face. I highly recommend these to anyone who is willing to work with the product to make it work for you. For the price you really can't beat it!!

Recommended, large, shady, with strong suction cups!
I bought 2 sets of sun shades for our cross country trip. This set was the winner. Good large size, and while they are shaped to fit the from driver and passenger windows, they can be used upside down, sideways and in the back windows, too. They also provide a good strong shade. The only downside is the rounded corners let direct sun in, and because the suction cups are on the edge of the shade you can't place them to overlap the top of the window (you CAN turn them vertically to overlap the top of the window but then you lose half the shade's functionality). Still I'd recommend them and plan to keep them for driving.

They do an excellent job, but be careful that you measure the ...
This was the second pair of Sun Protection screens we have purchased through Amazon. This pair was larger than the previous band we purchased. They do an excellent job, but be careful that you measure the windows you want to place these on. They tend to be larger than one would expect by just looking at the picture. This particular Sun Screen was too large for one of our cars, so we had to switch the screens between the cars to make sure they fit. One caution you should be aware of is that with these attached, if you hit the auto window down button, they can bend and sometimes catch in the window seals (if you forgot you had them attached). Otherwise they are great for the money and will do an excellent job blocking the sun.

Don't Waste Your Money.
These are a thin nylon material (like a pair of lady's stockings) wrapped over a wire frame with two suction cups attached. They are simple to apply and remove but really do not block much sun. Also they are very small and cover only about 2/3 of the window of my compact car. Others have complained that it was too large for the Windows on their large cars which leads me to believe this comes in different sizes. However there are no measurements listed so it's a gamble to order these and expect them to fit. Unfortunately, I 'm still squinting during my morning drive. I've seen better products which actually do block the sun. Too bad this isn't one of them.

Good privacy screen, poor sunshade.
So in order to understand my comments it is key to understand how this product is constructed. So there is a rigid-flexible border and between it tons of tiny little strands connected in an almost spider-web pattern. It is kind of like a bedsheet but if the sheet only contained less than 1/16th the normal number of strands (so you get holes, which is intentional here). So with that in mind, how does this product stop light? A human hair could fit through the gaps, a human hair is 80,000 nm wide, a light wave is by contrast only 400 nm wide (200x smaller). Let that sink in for a second, the holes are so large that light can trivially travel through, so the only hope this product has of reducing light intensity is when the light hits the strands of the "spider-web" itself (which aren't very dense by design, to allow you to see out). Most light reducing products use a filter sheet (e.g. polariser sheet, PMMA, etc). This is solid material which absorbs some of the energy within the light ray making it less powerful, this is also how almost all car window tinting is accomplished. In effect this filter material has no "holes" so a light wave's width is irrelevant in that circumstance. So back to this "shade." How does it work? I honestly have no idea. It seems to provide very minimal light intensity reduction just by virtue of blocking some light via the strands. However this won't save your eyes since your eyes are still subject to the full intensity light bypassing the strands. So why did I give it three stars? This product seems to help reduce the ambient temperature in my car by a degree or degree and a half on hot days. This is likely due to SOME of the light rays hitting the strands and also the border. It also acts as a mildly effective "privacy screen." In any kind of shade it is much harder to see into the back of the car relative to the front. If you have kids and want to keep the sun out of their eyes don't get this product. It won't do that. It cannot do that. Get something with a solid light absorbent or reflective filter instead. Or just tint your car windows. Even for reducing the temperature in your car you likely can do better than this product, it "works" but only somewhat.I will say for the low price that I paid I have no regrets. I may have rated it a bit higher if I didn't claim it was a "glade reduction" shade that could "Helps protect infants." They should have just used the same inexpensive filter material find in $5 sunglasses.

Works well if you don't have tint
I bought these for the time when I rent cars to go on work trips. They have fit all of the full sized car rentals that i have had. Sometimes they are just alittle to large but due to how they are constructed they will fit in smaller windows. They seem to be constructed well. They come with a small pouch to store them in.Overall they work well (Not as good as tinted windows) I would purchase again if I lost the ones I have.

No cubren casi nada
Sólo poniendo las 2 piezas juntas, una sobre la otra, se consigue bloquear un poco el sol.
