The Couple's Workbook: Homework to help love last

Allows you to keep in touch with your spouse
The Couples Workbook by The School of Life is an excellent tool for staying connected in a relationship. I’ve already mentioned how much I appreciate the work of The School of Life, and this workbook is no exception. It’s designed to help couples remain in tune with one another, which I think is crucial for a successful marriage.Humans are constantly growing, evolving, and changing, and this workbook acknowledges that. It encourages you to sit down, actively listen, and engage with your partner through challenging but meaningful questions. My wife and I have found it incredibly helpful—it’s not just about solving problems but about maintaining a strong, healthy connection.I’ve recommended this book to several friends and couples because I think everyone, regardless of the state of their relationship, could benefit from it. It’s not just a tool for when things are rocky; it’s a proactive way to keep learning about and understanding each other. Our lives are busy with careers, kids, and everything else, but this book reminds us to prioritize our relationship. After all, our family exists because of the bond we share, and this workbook helps us nurture that bond.If you’re in a relationship, I can’t recommend this book enough. It’s a great investment in your connection, no matter where you are in your journey together.

We broke up, and we never used this beautiful book
Can you make an equivalent for growing through breakups?I got this for me and my partner of 4+ years. We had it for quite a while and we never got a chance to start the prompts and discussions together. We broke up a few weeks ago, and I remembered this book and started reading it on my own. Just reading through it on my own has given me some valuable insights on my relationship and a lot of universal challenges people experience in relationships. The book also supports a somewhat pessimistic view on relationships: they’re inherently disappointing. I wish we used this book but it would have required a lot of energy.

Negative
This book takes a really pessimistic and negative tone. The prompts and activities are all very dismal and only bring up negative subjects and conversations with little/no advice, help, or strategy to complement it.

Pass on it
Waste of money. Poorly written and boring. Lots of grammar errors
