I ordered this book for my 11yr old, 5th grade son, when he switched from playing trumpet to playing euphonium. It saved me a trip to our "local" music store, which in turn saved me time. The book is just like what he was using for the trumpet, it's what was assigned for first year players. It's very basic and that is exactly what he needed.

4th grade son loved it for his school band! Works great for the price, would be over 2K to get it through school rental. The band teacher was pleased with the quality. With case is still light enough for 10 yr old to carry

Just what my son uses on school

I did not really have much of a choice, since the school required this book, but since my son is already able to read music and can play a few songs after just 2 months of owning a Baritone & the price is about half of what the music store charges, I think this book deserves 5 stars.

Exactly what the band teacher wanted.

I love teaching with this book. It's more straightforward and intuitive than any other method I've used. It just makes sense.
