Beautiful colors, they really make my embroidery pop. Puts the real in Dragonflys and Hummingbirds.

Beautiful thread. Shaped like the glide floss (flattened on one side). Probably explains why it unthreads from the needle during the embroidery. Fortunately, my machine stops if the thread becomes unthreaded and I was able to just rethread and keep going. I found if I held with my fingers up by the spool it helped control the delivery of the thread and kept it from unthreading on the needle. Definitely use a stabilizer. I used a Solvy cut-away on the back of the garment and the Solvy water soluble on the front. I used this thread to add embroidered snowflakes to a shirt when making Christmas dresses.

I've been using Madeira thread for many many years. I love all madeira thread, it's the BEST

Important to note this is thin tinsel, thin and flat. It looks thicker because it is so dimensional and it worked ok for what I needed it for, but I was expecting round thread. I still really like it and am glad it’s available!!

Colors are beautiful. The spools are small like all Madeira thread end wound tight do they are stretched. Yes it worked but came out if needle often. Slow machine down, use metallic ir microtex needle so it flows. I add this to many designs on top of other thread. Nice spark

No difficulty with thread breaking

The end result looks very good , but too much trouble . In spite of lowest machine speed and top stitch needle in a high end machine thread breaks in every second. I am a loyal customer of Madeira . This product has really disappointed me. This is not expected from a company like Madeira.

Colors are stunning. Just need to be mindful to use a size 90 needle, reduce thread tension & slow my machine waaaaaaay down to avoid thread breakage. That being said, the end result is gorgeous.

Loved this thread the sheen from it is sew beautiful I've not yet tried it but I'm sure I will like the way it that it will sew out

Awesome but very fiddly for hand embroidery.

Product not as advertised , package should have contained 8 x 200m reels of metallic thread, instead received 8 x 100m reels.Very disappointed .
