I'm in love-- Gorgeous green color and super soft! I'm totally spoiled: They are worth the price!

I am amazed at the quality of the Sijo tencel sheets. For background reference, I ordered both the west elm and potterybarn tencel sheet sets and was disappointed by both. Each set had flaws with the stitching/holes and I ended up returning both. On the other hand, the Sijo sheets had amazing stitching with no weak points, holes, or stitching coming undone. The sheet set was half the price of the pottery barn set for reference. I also love how soft, silky, and cool to the touch the Sijo sheets feel. It is definitely perfect for keeping cool and comfortable all night long. The biggest draw back of the sheet set for me is the metalic sheen of the sheets. I ordered the Sky color and did not realize how shinny and metalic the sheet/pillowcases would look. This metalic look makes the sheets turn different colors under different lighting. For example, in a low to moderately lit room the sheets appear as a light purple and when the room is well lit the sheets appear more as a light blue. It is definitely not what i was expecting from the stock photos; however when rewatching the video provided on the product the true color/metalic sheen shows. It is slightly unfortunate because it does not match my current duvet cover or throw pillows as I intended. I am unsure if I will end up returning for a different color, but this is only a minor inconvenience considering the products quality, comfort, and value.

Second update: the company and I finally connected and they sent me a replacement set of sheets that seem to be doing better. They are very soft and don't show signs of wear at all yet. The man I worked with on this issue was extremely kind and sent me two tshirts for free that I got yesterday and they are VERY soft! I am grateful that they were able and willing to fix this issue!UPDATE: do not buy these sheets. I have had them for 3 months I believe and they are falling apart. I take great care when doing laundry so there is no way this is something I have done. I don't wear jewelry to bed, I am not a particularly sharp person so there is truly no reason why this has happened. At last count there are 4 unexplainable holes in the bottom sheet. For this price, that is absolutely unacceptable. Sheets may not last forever but certainly it should be save to assume they would survive more than a few washes over the course of a couple months. How can I get my money back?!At first I was in love with these sheets. My partner and I are hot sleepers and these were the first sheets I’ve owned that don’t leave us suffering in cold sweat during the night. The are soft and breathable and the color is a beautiful, rich green. HOWEVER I spent weeks shopping and comparing different sheets before I invested in these. I have never spent so much on a pair of sheets before but figured it was an investment in my sleep health. I am so DISAPPOINTED after one wash there was an unexplainable HOLE in the fitted sheet and the seam of the flat sheet was beginning to separate and fray. For the cost of these sheet I cannot believe they are falling apart after just two washes that followed all washing instructions. I am really upset that a product so highly rated and so expensive would turn to be of such low standard of quality.

This is on me for not reading closely but since the top product photo is of 4 pieces, presumably a top sheet, I thought this would have 4 pieces. It's only 3. That's fine. They are very silky and soft before and after washing but the fabric pills after one (gentle) wash. They are okay sheets at a very high price. Not worth it.

Updated 8/19/22:I emailed Sijo and they gave me the suggestion of using sheet suspenders (which I hadn’t heard of) to make the fitted sheet hug my mattress corners. I got those & while it’s not perfect, it’s much better. I always had thick mattresses but my new one is definitely thinner so it’s likely more to blame than the sheet. Now that the sheet isn’t sliding around at night I feel the cooling benefits. Their care team even followed back up to see if the sheet suspenders were working out. I really appreciate that level of customer service & and caring that their product works for me.FIRST REVIEW: I bought the cooling sheets in Forest at the end of July bc I sleep hot. I had previously purchased their eucalyptus duvet cover and love it so I didn’t hesitate to spend $175 on these sheets. I wish I had gone with literally anything else. They are queen sized but don’t fit my queen bed- way too big so they slip around. I should have tried to return them then but thought I should give a little time & see if they shrink a little in a wash. No such luck. They aren’t comfortable and make me sweat more. I wish I could return them. I really hate them.
