I discovered this product while living in Costa Rica for a few months. I have continued to use it after returning to the States. Yes, the product is usually “dry and crumbly” when you buy it. It was in Costa Rica too. You just need to add water to it right after you open it and let it “reconstitute”. It works great and I highly recommended it.

Was introduced to this dish soap when visiting Costa Rica. It is a great way to stay on top of accumulating dirty dishes. I keep a sponge right on top and a quick swipe with a soapy sponge and pots, pans, knives, other hand washable dishes are done in a flash. I constantly clean as I'm cooking to stay on top of the kitchen. Once I used this soap, I never went back to the liquid versions again. No filling the sink or wrestling with bottles.

We first experienced this visiting Costa Rica and could not beleive how little of the soap it took to hand wash dishes. On our return to the US we could not find it. I bought ingredients to make a tub of solid dish soap which, like this, lasted a LONG time. But it had variable consistency that was a bit annoying. I bought this and mixed it with my remaining home made concoction (maybe 60/40) and it is a now a solid, lighter green and less scented. We've been using this for a few months and after what, 100 dips of the sponge, there is barely a dent in the tub.

Tried a similar product while in Costa Rica and loved it enough to buy it back home. Seems to dry out real fast so I keep a damp sponge in the container and the lid on. It also does not dry out my skin after lots of use unlike the dish soap I normally use. Smells decent also.

This product was not sealed well, and lid was partially open upon receipt. Many large dry chunks, not a solid paste. I cannot recommend it because of the poor condition upon receipt, and other reviewers have noted the same issue.

All kitchen utensils eg pots and baking pans . Give a real shine just apply to dish cloth.

I used this in Central America (very big there). Bought a few there but also found on Amazon ( much more expensive). I ordered it and am saving. Great for dishes, pots and pans.
