Lovely interiors coffee table book
Lovely book, great quality, contains images of a lovely Provence style property I came across on social media. Would recommend if French interiors are your thing.

I was deceived by the beautiful picture on the cover
The façade of the house and the mantelpieces on the fireplaces were basically the only Provençal style i could identify in her house. The rest seemed a functional museum and i don't think it was that cozy although the tables were dressed beautifully. There were chunky motif fabrics and the cypressis that she is so proud of were imported from Italy and are more fitting in Tuscany landscape. The pictures of other houses, we don't know if the owners like shabby chic or if it is Provence style, although i had an idea that Provence style was light, flowery and happy. Next time, i think i'll check on the author first and see if i like their style and knowledge.

Ich hoffe Shauna Varvel und ihre Familie weiß das sie sich sehr glücklich schätzen können dieses wundervolle Haus, in dieser wunderschönen Landschaft ihr Eigen nennen zu dürfen und es jederzeit nutzen können! Es ist ein wirklich schöner Bildband über ein geschmackvoll ausgestattetes Anwesen, das wie ein Heim auf mich wirkt! Es muss traurig sein diese Gegend wieder zu verlassen, um in den Alltag zurück zukehren. Auch wenn Familie Varvel sicherlich noch andere schöne Häuser hat. So finde ich das die Gestaltung der Bastide "mas des poiriers" einfach stimmig ist. Am Besten hat mir die Gestaltung der Terrasse /Gartenanlage und dem Dekor, sowie dem der Stoffe, für die Kissen usw. zugesagt - einfach atmosphärisch wie die Provence! Merci
