Good Stuff
I use this in my band saw. Great product. Flows as it should, almost films, and has excellent corrosion inhibitors. Also does an excellent job clearing the shavings away from the cut. I do run it a little thicker than they recommend since I don't have a high volume shop waste is not an issue. Highly recommend this.

Concentration & Rust
I read through some of the comments on the mix ratio and settled on trying 5 oz per gallon. Ran my mill in the evening and shut down. In the morning I came into shop and the mill had started to rust. I cleaned that up and increased my concentration to about 1/3 of a gallon of Trim to 4 gallons of water. That works pretty good but I still see a little bit of tendency to rust here and there. Thus I am going to use a full half gallon of Trim to 4 gallons of water. That might be a bit heavy, but rust is no fun! I spent about 20 years in the machine shop in one career. that ended in 1994. So I have seen my fair share of coolant. I would say Trim does a nice job and is pleasant to work with vs what we used back in the day. But do watch your concentration level! P

Best I found for home shop use
Wide range of effective concentration. Stays emulsified well with intermittent use a few weeks in between. Has almost no smell and hasnโt cause any skin issues. Protects the metal well, the mild steel filings I left on my bandsaw have little to no rust which was surprising to me.

I like the ease of use, lubricity, smell and clean up. I have had no issues with this lubricant and no rust issues either.
