Yes I searched this particular model and in the above description it says that it fits all models! This will fit your 501-A Series

Q: Replaced this valve. New one has a slight leak coming from vent hole during refill. Should I disassemble like other reviewers have done?

No need to remove, unscrew caps and check seal, reassemble and tighten firmly. Flush and loosen gently the horizontal nut (allowing a little seepage and then retighten. If that doesn't solve the problem, conside replacing the intake valve and possibly the flush valve. Sometimes new parts mixed with old do not function correctly, all work in unison, always best to replace all.

I do not know the purpose of this upper supply part. I replaced one because it was cracked and leaking.
