Love the art, love the rules set! If you're looking for an RPG that's easy to play, captures old school flavor while using the d20 system, I recommend Castles & Crusades.

This book combines several of the earlier Monsters & Treasure books along with creatures from the various codices and other supplements and adventures. That makes it incredibly useful for players and Castle Keepers, though it's worth noting that the Monsters of Airdhe and Tome of the Unclean are NOT included herein. They also converted all the illustrations to color, though that's a bit of a mixed bag. Many of the images, at least in my copy, are too dark or even a bit blurry. But if you want one stop shopping for monsters and highly useful random treasure generation tables for your C&C game, you should grab this. Another advantage of C&C is that you can pretty easily convert it backwards and forwards to different versions/editions of D&D with minimal effort.

It's a well put together book with the only issue so far is the occasional monster that is slightly out of alphabetical order. But it contains a lot of information. It just took me a little getting used to the older presentation style.

The game system it'self is awesome but I've received a book from this seller in the past that came in similar condition and I just figured it was a fluke. Book didn't even come wrapped. Somebody just through it in the bag in this condition. Hopefully some glue will fix the issue.

Beautiful art work, with an extensive catalogue of creatures. The Castles and Crusades Monsters and Treasure is superb.
