Very pleased with the lead. On first inspection the lead is made of strong rope and having now used in on several walks, it has plenty of give/stretch if you have a dog that pulls a bit on the lead. Ours just likes stopping very sharply for a sniff whilst you don’t notice and tries to pull your arm off!The leather trim is a nice addition and makes the lead feel even more hardwearing, especially around the handle.The metal clasp is easy to hook onto and off a collar or harness. We went for the red colour as we have Red Fox Labradors. Jasper (in the pic) is happy, although he may not look it!Length of the lead is prefect and allows any dog to sniff around.Would have liked a metal ring on the handle area for when off the lead to clip to the clasp, but this is not a reflection of the lead itself.On the whole a great lead, good value for money, strong and durable. Happy to recommend to others and looking forward to many adventures with it!

I purchased this lead along side a collar. It’s comfortable to hold and shorten as required (when approaching traffic etc). I chose beige which is a nice, natural colour - will get dirty really quickly tho I imagine it can go in the washing machine! Lead seems strong, but it is stretchy rope. I have a Staffy who sometimes pull which this is not good. It’s got really nice leather detail and brass fittings. Great for price.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lead! The green colour is gorgeous and looks very smart against the dark brown leather trim and gold hardwear!Our dog can pull quite alot when excited for his walks, but because this lead has a slight stretch to it, the pulling doesn't feel as harsh. It also feels very strong without feeling bulky!The gold clip is a good size and easy to clip and unclip from a harness or collar, so there's no fiddling about when your dog is eager to do zoomies!For us the length is perfect, it allows your dog plenty of room to have a sniff ect, while still being safe!The only thing that I think would be beneficial would be the addition of a metal ring by the handle to clip poop bags onto, that would make this great lead even better!Overall I think this is a fantastic lead and would definitely recommend it to other dog owners, and for less than £15, you really can't go wrong!Can't wait to see if Embark pets bring out any more colours or lengths! (Can imagine this lead would look good in navy!)(The photo really doesn't do the colour any justice, it really is a gorgeous green!)

I bought this lead along with matching collar in forest green and the colour looks even better in person. I normally walk my spaniel in a harness but the rope lead works brilliantly as it has a small amount of stretch in which i love and is friendlier for my dog and he actually walks better with this lead as he doesn't pull as much. The attention to detail in these products is so nice to see with the leather parts are a nice touch and make it not only extremely functional but also so nice to look at.

Dog chewed through this after a few days. A shame as it was a nice lead, looked good and felt comfortable to hold.

This leash was used for family pictures. It was slightly expensive, but not near what else I was seeing for similiar leashes on Amazon. I wouldn’t buy this to use every day as it’s not super comfortable, but it worked well for our pictures and love the way it looks! If you’re looking for a cute, neutral leash for pictures I would highly recommend this one! It ended up looking nice in pictures!

Looking for a leash for my teething puppy. For training sitting calmly next to me. But he chewed apart the leash in seconds. That’s a pity because the haptic and look is/was very nice and light weighted. Maybe I‘ll try again when my puppy grewed up and gained all of his teeth.

I must say there is not one thing I dislike about these leashes. I have used it for my first fur baby for years and just got another for my second puppy. The leashes are light weight but strong. I have very fluffy pups and have used leashes where the hair just collects all over it but these do not do that which is great! Also because it is braided you they don’t really look dirty. I would absolutely recommend this product to all my friends!
