This tool kit is clutch. When I bought it I was working on refrigerated shipping containers and it was so helpful. Easy to put in a pocket or work bag and GREATLY reduced the tools you need to carry around. Presently, I don't use it as often, but it lives in my tool bag. I ended up buying a standard one later, because metric isnt as common in my new life, so just note which one youre getting. As of writing this, my set is nearing 5 years and is still trucking flawlessly. Quality and durability is great. My friends are all jealous.

This review is for the Wera Zyklop 1/4 inch flex head ratchet. This comes as a kit with sockets and bits. I have several other 1/4 inch flex head ratchets which lack most of the features of the Wera and are too small (see photo 3). I have large hands (athritic) and have a difficult time manipulating small tools. The sockets appear to be 6 point flank drive sockets. All parts of this kit are well finished. In general I prefer metal tool cases. This has a cloth type tool roll with rigid inserts to hold the square shape. It securely keeps all the tools in place and is very well made. The tool roll has a Velcro strip on the back for securing the tool roll for storage. This does have a button to release a socket, which many new ratchets do not have. I do mostly handy man type work and I like how this keeps most of the small bits for fasteners in one tool roll. While this kit has 15 different bits it is missing a few that I commonly use like square and blade bits. This tool kit is expensive but it is by far the best 1/4 inch flex head ratchet I have seen. My previous ratchets were too small and did not have a way to lock the angle. The reenforced tool roll came in a nice cardboard box with slide on lid (see photo 5). The tool roll is labled with a rubber replica of the ratchet. Most tools only come in a cheap plastic bag or hard shell plastic cover. I thought this tool was made in Germany but to my surprise I see it is made in the Czech Rep.

This is the most well thought out set I have ever purchased. I ride dual sports and enduro, wherever I go this is either in my tail bag or backpack. I’ve almost had this set for a year and I exclusively use it for bike maintenance and trail side fixes. The kit is well organized, everything snaps positively in place and the elastic holds everything well. I have never found anything loose in the case from riding rocky terrain or rough roads in a tail bag. The ratchet is great, can act as a screw driver or regular ratchet. Extensions work great for getting to hard to reach places. The wobble extension works fine but I’d rather have a universal joint and instead of the wobble extension just a regular extension would be fine. If you’re on the fence BUY IT NOW. Easily the best purchase I’ve made, and I would definitely get it over the Tool Check Plus. I recommend it to everyone I ride with.

Love this kit, I work for a medical company and can use this kit to do 90% of the work on our devices. If I had to only be equipped with one kit this would be it

Great little tool kit from Wera in Wuppertal, Germany. Easily fits in a car’s glove box or a brief case. For the first few months, I thought the sockets were hard to remove from their plastics holders, but I had missed the design feature that lets you grab the base of the socket, then twist the socket about a quarter of a turn, which unlocks the socket, making it very easy to remove and use. When you put them back, reverse the procedure and lock them in place.

By far mu favorite brand and set of tool, super easy to travel with. Especially if you work traveling a lot, great quality.

They are nice but a lot of plastic parts used on a tool. Those parts will fail in the future.

I can definitely recommend it as the best screwdriver I’ve ever owned. Thanks to it, I was able to do a lot of work in my apartment, including assembling IKEA wardrobes and attaching shelves to the walls.

Everything is very well made and even better designed. Some may quibble about the price but this set will last you a lifetime time and your children’s. It’s just exquisite and I am looking for things to go around and use it on 😆 To start in this kit all of the bits are made to a very very high standard. They are held very securely in the case. The zyklops system itself is very tactile. Just a pleasure to use. I was that impressed I ordered another two pieces of their equipment and an expensive torque wrench for my bike. I just love it.

Die Zyklop Ratsche in 1/4 Zoll mit dem mitgelieferten Zubehör erfüllt alle Erwartungen, welche an dieses Produkt gestellt werden können. Schon auf den ersten Blick zeigt sich die Wera typische Qualität. Alles ist sicher in der Tasche aufgehoben und eben diese Tasche ist eine gute Alternative zur klassischen Blechbox. Sie ist hervorragend verarbeitet, es gibt keine Beschädigungen, gelöste Nähte o. Ä. Dazu ist der haptisch tastbare Aufdruck der Ratsche zur Erkennung des Inhaltes ein feines Extra und lässt das ganze Set recht einzigartig wirken. In der Tasche ist die Ratsche und das beigelegte Zubehör sehr sicher und clever verstaut, sodass alles auch bei Belastung hält und gleichzeitig sehr platzsparend transportiert werden kann. In Summe ist diese Form des Transportes eines kleinen Ratschensets für mich deutlich angenehmer, da recht sicher auch gröbere Behandlung im Alltag besser weggesteckt werden können (= es entstehen keine Dellen) und keine scharfkantigen Ecken vorhanden sind. So passt die Tasche auch einfach z.B. unter den Sitz eines Motorrades und hinterlässt keine Schäden am Lack, wenn beim Herausholen unachtsam gehandelt wurde. Die Ratsche ist etwas länger als andere 1/4 Zoll Ratschen, hat aber durch die schlankere Bauform ein geringeres Gewicht und dennoch eine mindestens ebenbürtige Festigkeit. Dies wurde in zahlreichen unabhängigen Tests belegt und bei für diese Ratschengröße üblichen Aufgaben muss der Anwender sicher keine Sorge vor Überbelastung haben. Durch die beiliegenden Verlängerungen und die Möglichkeit zur Verstellung des Kopfes kann insgesamt eine hohe Kraft auf das zu verschraubende Element erwirkt werden, wenn dies erforderlich ist. Ein Umschalten der Drehrichtung ist durch einen durchgehend geriffelte Plastikscheibe am Kopf möglich - diese ist gut greifbar, auch mit öligen Fingern, und wirkt sehr wertig, es wackelt nichts und es gibt kein Spiel! Der Mechanismus ist dabei simpel gearbeitet, funktioniert aber hervorragend und weist keine Mängel auf. Der Kopf kann in fünf Positionen arretiert werden und erlaubt einen Zugang zu nahezu allen Schrauben, die z. B. ein Motorrad besitzt. Durch die Verlängerungen und die Einstellung des Kopfes nach vorne (= 45 Grad von der eigentlichen Position eines Ratschenkopfes) entsteht, da auch ein passender Rapidaptor mit 1/4 Zoll Aufnahme beiliegt, ein langer Ratschenschraubendreher, der unglaublich praktisch sein kann. Dieser Rapidaptor Adapter hat eben diese 1/4 Zoll Aufnahme zur Befestigung der Ratsche und auf der anderen Seit eine normale Sechskant Aufnahme für Standard Bits - Standard Bits liegen zu dem oben beschriebenen Zwecke auch dabei; Die üblichen Schraubenköpfe, auch Torx, können damit recht sicher geschraubt werden. Die Bits sind überlang und erweitern die Möglichkeiten der Ratsche noch einmal erheblich. Die beigelegten Nüsse sind farblich markiert und decken die am meisten verwendeten Größen in dieser Klasse ab, spezifisch ist von 5 - 13 (Ausnahme Größe 9!) jede Nuss einmal vorhanden und dazu gibt es noch die Zwischengröße 5,5. Die Nüsse werden durch einen schönen Drehmechnismus in der Tasche arretiert und auch fest gehalten, ein Rausfallen beim Transport ist nahezu unmöglich. Insgesamt stimmt hier einfach alles und man merkt, dass Wera sich Gedanken über die Anforderungen, die an ein solches Set gestellt werden, gemacht hat. Dies ist z.B. an der hohen Anzahl an Torx Langbits erkennbar, welcher andere Hersteller legt so etwas bei einer Ratsche bei? Die allgemeine Qualität ist außerordentlich gut und gibt keinen Grund zur validen Kritik. Wer, viellicht auch ergänzend zum Tool Check, einen mobilen Ratschenkasten benötigt, macht hier sicher keinen Fehler und wird lange glücklich sein!
