This includes racing at various competitive levels. I own a Cervelo TT bike, and my main bike has been a Specialized Tarmac Pro, both with ZIPP wheels, and Dura Ace components. I was in the market for a new aero road bike, as a change of pace and had been looking at Cervelo's, BMC's, and Specialized. I read an article about Eagle Bikes, and after doing some digging, found it on Amazon. The Eagle Z3, is a bike that can't be beat for its value, and the features that come with it. In plain terms, to get what this bike comes with as standard equipment, in a Trek or Cervelo, or and other name brand, you be paying north of $6000, minimally.This past weekend, I took it out for its first 50 mile ride. All I say is, this is a machine that can easily compete against bikes costing $2000-$3000 more. It's agile, fast, steady, and the Ultegra Di2's make shifting a dream! The Eagle 60mm wheels, are SWEET! I have ZIPP 404's and 606's on my other bikes, and they are amazing wheels, but the Eagle wheels are an equally superb set of wheels. What's best is the bike comes with Continental tires installed. The matt black finish looks wicked, and the bike does get attention on the road.The distributor of Eagle in the US is Tri-Bike Run out of Juno FL. These guys take the worry out of buying the bike, sight unseen. George Robb, with the shop, was always available to answer any questions, or provide support. If you are looking to buy a great bike, with every possible feature you could want, without breaking the bank, you've got to take a look at the Eagle Z3. ### ⭐⭐ A Host of Problems with Little Things!!! *by K***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2019* Ok... I have to revisit my initial review as I have had the bike for almost a year now and have discovered so much more since I wrote my initial review. I was raving about the bike and the set up initially and felt good about it. However, to date I have discovered so much about the bike and the set up that took place in house.1. The inconsistency in the tension of the spokes left a lot to be desired. I have had at least five spokes break on me during rides and have incurred a great deal of expense replacing all of the spokes in both wheels. I n my excitement to get going I did not check but after having this repeated problem can say that you must check all the parts.2. The crank arm started to move recently and all I had done was put the pedals on the cycle. when I set up the cycle. Do not know why as it seems that this is a malfunction from within.3. Many bolts on the cycle were loose from the get go and I had to stop after a few rides and do a full scale review of the bolts to ensure I would not have issues when out ride far away from home.I like the aesthetics of the cycle but the attention to detail has left a lot to be desired. The clean lines and look are appealing but I can only suggest to the manufacturer that quality control has to be addressed. I intended to ride this cycle and then upgrade in the New Year to another Eagle. Now I know I will have to look at the other options I was considering because I have been disappointed with the number of issues that have arisen during the year that have detracted from me enjoying the "Eagle" experience. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bike, Frame runs a little tall, overall weight is 19lbs *by F***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2018* ***UPDATE***The Eagle company reached out to me and had amazing customer service they replaced the bike for free of charge and even gave me a stem that will fit me needs!I was skeptic at first but they called me first hand and did all the shipment and processing for free!---I'm an avid Cat4 rider have used this bike in 2 crit races!It is very expensive for other comparable bikes and weights ~19lb with all carbon saddle and water cages.I usually ride a 54' (I'm 5'9" at 145lbs) on all my bikes and this one was a bit too tall, I should've gotten the 52'Pros:- Di2- 65mm rims- Very easy installation!- There are some cervelo parts to them!
