I recently purchased this 65W laptop charger for my HP EliteBook, and it has exceeded my expectations. This worked perfectly for my HP G7 Laptop. The old charger would not charge and when I plugged it into the laptop the charging light would blink white and go out. Per the internet, that means the laptop is not pairing with the charger. Interestingly, my volt meter said the charger was putting out power, the laptop was just not willing to use that power. Anyway, found this charger on Amazon and ordered it. It came quickly. I plugged it into the laptop and the charging light came on amber and stayed on constant. Within a few minutes I had enough charge to boot up. Charger works perfectly.

Works well, perhaps better than the charger that came with my (refurbished) computer. Very reasonable price, excellent quality, and packaging (as new). Recommend seller!

One day the battery would not take nor keep a charge ... nor would the laptop work when the charge ran out. Since the battery is always plugged as it is a "desktop replacement," I was flummoxed. Tried various things (unplugging/replugging the power cable, trying different power receptacles, etc.) Couldn't make sense of the problem. Figured it must be the battery. Ordered new battery, and, on a whim, ordered a new power cable. When they arrived, I did the easy thing first, tried the new power cable. Problem solved. Battery took a full charge ... it is dropping about 1% per day. I've read in a couple of places that I should disconnect the battery every so often to drain it and then recharge it. We'll see what happens.

It works on my laptop and not overly-priced.

​I bought this charger and after only 10 days of use, it started smelling like something was burning coming from my laptop whenever it was plugged in. Additionally, my laptop started making loud, abnormal noises. ​This charger is extremely poor quality and unsafe. Using it could easily destroy an expensive laptop. I returned it immediately to save my device. Please, do not risk your laptop by buying this product. STAY AWAY

DO NOT BUY!! The shielding on the cable came loose after only 2 weeks of use, and the inner shielding was also broken, exposing the copper cables inside. When I plugged it in, they short-circuited, burnt out the wires, and also burnt my wooden flooring. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND GET THE ORIGINAL CHARGER!
