A very well constructed watersock
This "sock" doesn't need a shoe or sandal around it. The material is mechanically speaking, very robust. Though they are made for outdoors, I use them as a night slipper . I live in rural Thailand and the night time often involves having to go outside to chase King Cobras off of the back porch. (No kidding..) They run a little small . They are very warm. They are made from a a hybrid wet suit material. This item needs to be matched to the shoe or sandal they are going to worn with. I wear a 12 and were I to use this item on a formal trek, I would purchase a 12 1/2. I would use this product on late fall, winter treks involving water crossings and rain. This item is so well made, that I doubt I will ever have to purchase again. ✯✯✯✯✯✯ Six Stars.

Would Recommend
I went on a hike today and wore the socks with regular sneakers. I walked in through several creeks, and my feet stayed perfectly dry. They didn’t get sweaty at all either, which was very nice. I definitely recommend them.

Great for Snowshoeing
I love these socks. My feet have never been more warm and dry during snow shoe hikes.

purchased for winter kayaking and they have been wicked good so far. They are not bulky nor have a seam and are comfortable to walk in.

Disappointed
These were kind of disappointing …. I wore them on a short run in the rain… not only were me feet wet, but where the seam is left me with a nice start of a blister.

NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL!
These socks are NOT waterproof AT ALL!! In fact, they are the opposite. I put them on and put just the soles of my feet in the water, the tops of my feet were out of the water. Not only did the socks almost immediately leak (about 3 seconds), within 10 seconds, they had wicked water all the way up to the top of the inside of the sock. Again, only the soles were in the water, everything else was dry when I started the test. Not even water resistant. My regular cheapo cotton socks do just as well at around 5% of the cost and the cotton socks are way more comfortable (these are terrible for comfort as well). Look elsewhere for waterproof socks and avoid this brand at all costs!

Perfect
Amazing! After 6 hours in and out of a kayak my feet were almost completely dry. Surprisingly comfortable.
