It's awesome. Looks great doesn't extend past the vertical rollers for a clean flush look.

A nice chunk of polyurethane. It has some heft to it, so it will work as a small damper. I bought this to keep any potential rattling of the hook against the rollers. This was purchased for install on a Smittybilt 17.5 K winch. Winch is scheduled for installation next week. The one issue i worry about is that being the top size winch that Smittybilt offers, the 'HOOK' might be too big for the isolator to fit in the hook pocket. If this was a 9000-12000 lb. winch, the hook would fit. The 17.5 K winch hook most likely is larger so the question of size comes into play.This was also purchased to give me options on mounting my front plate(NEVADA) which mandates both F/R. I will either do a snap-on roller mount, or a fold down bracket mount. Either of those choices mandate a flush mounted winch hook. I will update if there is a fit-ment problem.PS. I saw the Smittybilt offering after looking first at Day Stars model for WARN's and other assorted Winch rollers. Reviewers had mentioned having to modify these standard isolators to fit the Smittybilt roller.

Supposed to fit Smitty winches, I have the 9500 XRC and I was so excited to put this on, but it doesn't fit, and I don't have a tool to core out a larger opening, so pretty useless, its way to small. Very disappointedFollow up, Its ugly but we cred it out to fit my winch cable loop, this should really be adjusted in the fure or clearly stated in the description. But at least I have it on there now
