Excellent lock
This is a great lock for outdoor use! We purchased this lock in March so it's been in use for 6 months now and works perfectly. This lock is on a gate that is opened everyday. All other locks would get hard to open and close, the numbers start fading and so on. I'm putting this lock on every gate I have!

Excellent Padlock
This lock is wonderful. It works very well and is very precise which makes it more secure. Very easy to read the numbers and it looks very tough and secure. The button that actually releases the shackle is unique but another security feature.

Seems Beefy
It seems to be a very nice closed shackle padlock. The wheel and the rest of it are nice and smooth. The casing is nice as well. The only problem is I dropped mine about a week after I got it and the release button on the bottom shattered.

Great lock for our tool shed
The lock is strong. A custom combination is easily set. Numbers turn smoothly, whether in hot weather or chilly. We don't get snow here, so I can't speak to how well it will perform in that sceanario. But, the recent rain we received did not reduce the ease of use in the least. Recommend highly

Awful
One worked for 2days then I had to cut it off the other lasted a week.

No break-ins
Great for gym locker. No available angle for chain cutters to cut through. Before buying, make sure you measure the intended hole that the shackle will go through.

Nice sturdy padlock, feels good quality, and seems secure. The only negative is setting your combination requires the removal of a tiny screw which is extremely fiddly to get back in.

I have no idea how shim proof this is, but it seems well made, the number dials move smoothly and the use of a button at the bottom to release the shackle is a good idea as with many combination padlocks there's an automatic release when you (accidentally or working through the numbers) hit the right combination.
