Tough, comfortable, nice look, perfect fit
Usually he rips the thighs or the butt out of a pair of jeans in less than a month. The week before I bought these he went through 2 new pairs. But not these, these he has loves evem more than his duck carpenter pants. I will definitely be a returning customer.

** Update***. I tired a number of "relaxed fit" jeans before I found these. Fantastic jeans
**Updated Review**. Well, here I am again. These are fantastic jeans for anyone that likes comfortable jeans. They are comfortable with our breaking in or multiple washing. They last a long time and keep their good looks the entire time. Don’t think you can get a better pair of jeans for the money. I’ll keep coming back for more as long as they keep the quality and the reasonable price. Excellent product 6 stars ;-)I was very disappointed when I tried several more expensive pairs of Wrangler Relaxed Fit jeans that were just cut funny. Even though they said RELAXED FIT, they were not. Very tight in legs and uncomfortable. These Red Kap did not say relaxed fit so I was concerned they would be "skinny" style jeans.. THEY ARE NOT!!!!!They are perfect. Fit has I had hoped. I could call them relaxed fit and I am sure they will get even more comfortable as they break-in.They are not HEAVY denim but I would call them mid-weight. Great for any season. double stitched and well made.Definitely recommend them over the Wrangler and you can save a few bucks in the process.Great value...

"Classic work jean" indeed!
I like RedKap. They offer a quality product at an affordable price and are no-nonsense in terms of appearance. No, you don't get to pull off a fashion statement like with Dickies or Carhartt. RedKap is less workwear chic (and don't get me wrong, those brands stand the test of time and wear like champs) than it is "just" workwear. But hey, I'm a fat, nerdy corporate office ground level guy, what would I know about workwear? Truth be told, I don't have much of a call for jeans at my workplace, and even my daily "personal uniform" is more traditional/smart casual (khaki pants, button down shirts, sweater vests). That said, I am a gardener and I do put in a warehouse shift now and then, and while I don't wear jeans often outside of these purposes, I do reach for a pair now and then! These jeans are no-nonsense, sturdy, basic blue jeans. Five pockets, rugged and somewhat heavy material, no fancy stitching, not even any metal rivets. If you wear them at your natural waist rather than hanging from your hips, they are a good fit, slightly on the snug side of perfect. Most other reviewers seem to find that they are long and have a really high rise; traditional work jeans (originally called waist overalls) are cut this way and are great for keeping a shirt tucked in and not exposing the canyon when bent over. They fade over time, as do many jeans, and are the right darkness of blue for this reason. I had a smaller pair that I wore for nearly a decade that faded where you would expect, on pockets, seams, and cod flap, and while they remained thick and durable, also became very soft and comfortable to the point where I would prefer them as a lounge pant over sweat pants. I'm glad I can get them on Amazon rather than have to hunt them down through work wear mail order catalogs (my local shops always just seemed to carry Dickies, again, a fine jean, but not what I was after, being very non-label and minimalist).Budget wise, these are a great find for your large carriage gentleman. I'm on an Amazon Essentials kick these days and find they look great paired with any of their button-down shirts, or for more practical, let's get dirty stuff, the RedKap Industrial work shirts, though my neighbor has remarked it looks like I'm going for prison chic with that combination. I disagree. As long as these things are made, I'll be including them in my closet for when I need to get dirty or even just look a bit less smart casual. But hey, don't listen to this fat office desk jockey, try on a pair for yourself!

Big Dumpy Nope
I would never recommend these to anybody with good conscience. These sizes are stupid. As a thin guy who needs work denim, these are DANGEROUSLY HUGE. No human being that wears my size has legs this huge, and no human being wants to wear pants that make them look like they're wearing an adult diaper. These jeans are terribly thin, awful quality, would never stand up to a single day on the job for me. The legs get DANGEROUSLY snagged on things around me as they ding dong like stupid liberty bells.Let me repeat this: Not one single human being that wears a small size like this has legs and thighs like a bigger human. I'm sick of these American standardized sizes that constantly change just to brainwash society. These are the absolute LAST jeans I would recommend to anybody that actually works and needs something that will hold up. The stitching is totally flawed, strings hanging everywhere. Just a low, low quality pair of jeans that are sized so poorly, you'd think they were made by children.I don't wear jeans for fashion when I need something that I can work in, but I do need them to fit me in a way that doesn't just outright suck, JUST like every other pair of "American size" jeans anymore.I have a pair of Key jeans from 23 years ago that absolutely rule, no snags or fraying, still dark, still thick, and I've worn them at least twice a week for work in mine shafts, covered in clay and mud, dragged through brambles, etc. I wash them, let them air dry, and they feel like new jeans every time I put them on. I will obviously never have this kind of quality again, because even that company can't stop with this stupid sizing issue. You know what doesn't seem to try to brainwash me? Euro sizing. I'm done with US clothing sizes. This was the last straw. Not recommended.

HEAVY WEIGHT TOUGH FABRIC, like in the old days! (hooray!)
Now this is retro quality, very heavy-weight denim and great stitching (no rivets)! Just what I was looking for! I expect these will last a lifetime, they're so solid in feel!

Comfort where it matters
These are comfortable jeans in all the right places. The price is also great. They seem to be tough enough to last and yet nice enough for a casual dinner out.
