I wanted to give it 4 stars because the directions are just TERRIBLE. But the product is good. Its a nice windmill and works as a windmill should. Gave it to my wife for Christmas. She loves it. Just be aware the directions are awful.

Perfect! Was easy to assemble, took me about an hour. Sturdy and looks great in my back yard. Would definitely buy again.

I really like this windmill & think it’s built well for how little it costs. It’s a perfect size and feels sturdy once together & everything’s tightened. The biggest complaint is the instructions that came with it (or lack thereof). Would have given it 5 stars if the instructions/setup had been easier. Photos that show NO detail with arrows pointing to vague areas on the pictures, no specifics for which ends of the leg braces went up or down, despite them obviously having directionality. It’s definitely a two-person construction unless you can set it up on a bench with clamps while assembling. My advice would be to not tighten anything until you’ve got it completely assembled, because chances are you’re going to have to take something off & turn it a different way. All the parts were present in the box & packaged well, and it feels like it’ll last a good while. We had to anchor it with brick/rocks because of the high winds we get off the mountains, but so far it’s stood up wrll to the winds.

I don't leave reviews on things very often but this is one cheap made peice of junk that nobody should be guilty of buying. Only China would ship out such a flimsy made peice of merchandise. The metal frame of this thing is not much thicker than sheet metal. The nuts and bolts are very soft and easy to strip, not to mention it doesn't even come with washers or nylon locking nuts. Thing will probably fall apart after a week if a slight wind doesn't fold it up first. As for directions.....might as well throw them away because they are black and white pictures that are blurry and the wording might as well be written in Chinese because it makes no sense. I've put windmills this size from Tractor Supply and other hardware stores together before. Sure, they are twice as much in cost, but it's well worth it to get an item that isn't as cheap made and flimsy as this thing is. Other people who purchased this windmill and say it's good quality must have received a totally different quality of product than what I got in the mail. Buyer beware!!! Do Not Purchase unless you want a cheaply made, flimsy sheet metal framed windmill put together with hardware made of something softer than aluminum. Almost ashamed to give this thing to my Dad for a Christmas present.

While I do like the end result and the decoration I purchased it has a few flaws. Well let's just call it two. 1. The instructions are terrible. Attach unmarked part to another unmarked part X4 then attach unmarked part to them. The description of each part is vague as well. Making putting this together a bit of a guessing game. 2. Inexperience, I have never built one of these before. Therefore the instructions need to be very clear to make sure mistakes are not made during assembly. Other than those issues it seems to be very well put together for the price. It looks very nice and seems to turn quite easily even in a small breeze. Now I just need to figure out how to mount it properly somewhere. My yard sucks every where I tried to dig to level it were so Rocky I couldn't dig. That is t the fault of the windmill, just bad luck on my part.

It takes a few hours to assemble. Mostly because of the amount of nuts and bolts used to construct it. Very sturdy and durable to strong gusts of wind. I recommend it if you're looking for a rustic yard decoration. We'll worth the money.

Nice size for a backyard. Bigger than I thought. Study, well made. Spins freely. Instructions are not great. Good color. Great price
