When I use it alone, it just either peels my face (if I haven't used an exfoliator), or hurts my pores/feels like my face is pulling in on itself when I have used my exfoliator prior to the serum. The current/go-to process is (after cleansing): 1 Serum(s), 2 Moisturizers/Creams. So I put this on right after cleansing -- which does nothing but chaff me.
