Otter Products COMMUTER SERIES Case for Moto E 2nd Gen/4G LTE - Retail Packaging - Black (Black/Black)

This is a very durable case. I've had it for a while now, and there is some tiny bit of damage to the top, near the headphone jack. Which is amazing, in my opinion.The rubber bit over the power plug is starting to get a little worn out, but again, it's lasted for an insanely amount of time.It is a tiny bit of a pain to get it on and off. It also collects dust/dirt like nobody's business. And because of the hassle of getting the case on and off, I don't really feel like taking it off just to clean under it.But overall, this is an insanely solid case, and I'd highly recommend it!

The gray rubber part is already starting to tear a little (it's been 3 weeks), but other than that, it's good! I totally dropped my phone for testing and not because I'm an irredeemable prick who constantly drops phones and my phone has very much survived! Great!Oh, but the included screen protector rips very easily (or maybe I should trim my nails?), so buy another one! Which one you may ask? Well whichever company would want to sponsor me!!EDIT: that company is Mr. Shield, but I'm still waiting for that check *wink*.

Otter knows how to protect your expensive smartphone!! They are a bit pricey but when compared side by side to cheaper cases the build quality is obvious. My Moto E 2015 fits nicely in the case and the port covers seal very tightly. I'm subtracting a star because Otter doesn't offer their superior Defender Series case for my Moto. I had Defender cases covering my previous two phones and found the level of protection they offered to be outstanding. I expect the Commuter series case to also be rugged but it is not as protective as the Defender

This phone case fits the Moto E really well, and really protects the phone!The buttons are easy to press, and, best of all, it protects the phone. I've had some problems with dropping phones in the past, so I really needed a robust case that could take a periodic short drop. Since getting this case almost 6 months ago, I've dropped it a few times and have seen NO damage to the phone, or even cosmetic damage to the case!The only negative aspect of this case for me is that it is pretty bulky. It's not as bulky as some of the competition, but it definitely makes your phone noticeably bigger. That's to be expected in a robust case, but just keep that in mind. As always, Oteerbox is a 5 star product, just wish the hard shell came in diffrent colors....even if it were just a white one. I buy these cases for everyone in the family. I have noticed they sell skins now for certain phone models...but family is finding other ways to individualize so they don't acxidentally pick up the wrong one. Really a problem with the men as they are all happy with just basic black so they all look alike.

A long time ago, on a Internet far away, I purchased an Otterbox for my Nokia E-series. It was glorious. Angels sang when everything came together during its assembly and the phone lived many long years through adverse conditions. I was an Otterboxer from then on.Today, I put together a new Otterbox for my Moto E (I may have a thing for phones of E series). Everything was going well. . . until I encountered The Screen Protector of the Damned. First, the size of the protector is small for the overall face of the phone and there's even a gap between the case and the protector. This caused me much strife when applying it, it came out crooked, as didn't have any potential boundaries to align it to. Secondly, upon application of the protector, I noticed multiple pieces of yellow lint under it. "That's odd," I thought. I purged my apartment of the color yellow back in aught-nine. Then it dawned on me: The lint-free cloth that was provided was linting the sticky side of my screen protector. After applying, reapplying, and applying again, I removed the protector and placed it in a box on the shelf. I did not discard it, for fear of angering it.So, in conclusion, it's a solid-feeling case that will probably survive drops, crashes, and impromptu fistfights, but the screen protector should be put on using a lint-free cloth from someplace else by some kind of robot or person with robotic-like precision.

Works great. LOVED that it came with a bonus screen protector. I don't have problems with screen protector interference like some have mentioned in their reviews... Perhaps they changed the screen protector? Nice product. Sturdy and easy to put on phone.

Fits great unfortunately also holds the heat when charging so you may want to think about charging with it off the phone, easy to put on and take off so that is a plus

Yes, it did. It protects the phone well and is not as bulky as I feared it would be. My only problem is that when I took the case off after it had been on for a whole week there was a lot of dirt along the sides. Still a great case overall.

Otter box quality is it's real strength. I don't think you can find a better case for protection. They aren't cheap but if you have a $600 phone. The cost is worth it.
