Great value, and, yes, they will fit a 2003 Grand Cherokee! Buy them!!!
Nutshell review: They will fit a 2003 Grand Cherokee, despite what the fitment recommendation says, and you should buy them. These are an outstanding value for what they are.Good points:* They are the same length as the OEM ones I pulled off. Sounds obvious, but I have installed name brand ones that weren't. Getting literally shorted sucks, especially on hatch lifts.* They have rubber o-rings on the fittings, which I assume addresses the reasoning behind the plastic washers that were on the originals.* They are swift and strong. Again, I've had others that left you wondering a bit.* The snap fittings all had fresh grease in them, which, for the price, surprised me.Things that make you go hmmm:* As others have mentioned, the metal on these bolts is softer than OEM. Be careful, and go easy on the He-Man tightening.* The socket end fittings are a little sloppier than the originals (on the hatch), but you only really notice if you fiddle with them or raise the hatch beyond the end the throw and wiggle them. In regular use, you can't tell.* In all three applications, one lift definitely lifts a bit higher than the other and ultimately holds the hood/glass/hatch up. So they may not be 100% matched. They both lift together and it stays up, which is what matters. And seeing as I didn't pay attention to the originals (because they were collapsing on my head!), that may well be because what they are lifting isn't exactly balanced to begin with.* They are a bit noisy, especially when slowing at the end of the throw. That may settle down over time, but, honestly, unless you're super picky about such things, it mostly just sounds like they are working, which they are.Things to know when you install them:* The hood ones are easy. Basic, pop off, pop on, like most lifts out there.* The hatch is heavy and the bottom screws need to be lined up well to go in - get help ahead of time. If you and your spouse are already having difficulties, find someone else, as this will not make that better.* The screws on these use a T40 star driver. A T30 will act like it's right, but you'll soon strip things and be cursing the softer metal. Many basic driver sets won't have a T40, but that's what you need.* Remove the bottom hatch lift screw first, then the top one. If you undo the top one first, it will force the support body into the hatch frame, preventing full removal.* The upper OEM glass lift end has a plastic cap that you need to pull out to release the fitting (if you clean it off, you will see this marked on it). Or you can not notice this and pry it off like a caveman and break it. Which, since you're throwing it away, doesn't matter. But you will feel silly. Ugh.* The lower OEM glass lift fitting is a T30. The replacement is a T40, as with the hatch fittings. See above for why this matters.Bottom line: I don't think I have ever installed an aftermarket lift strut, name brand or otherwise, and come away thinking, "Wow, that was a really awesome product!" so the shortcomings of this set would hardly dissuade me from buying it again. New lift struts can be expensive, but make your life much, much less stressful than dealing with old, failing ones. So getting a whole vehicle's worth of them for this low price makes these one of the best bangs your buck can provide. Well worth the money.

Fit and works perfectly on my 2002 Grand Cherokee
The struts on my hood and tail gate have slowly been failing for years and I finely decided to order replacements, The set of six was the same cost as just the hood and tailgate from other sellers so I took the chance and bought the set.I replaced the hood and tailgate, easy replacement. I supported the hood and tailgate with a piece of 1x that happened to be in the garage and it took just a few minutes for each strut. The hood lifts with just a light touch and stays up and the tailgate practically pops up when opened.I will replace the tailgate glass later, I just skipped it since I only open it a couple times a year and I think it works OK

Fit perfect, no problems with the threads. They work great.
I like that the threads on the trox screws were perfect. No cross threading. 30 minutes to replace all 3 pairs. Once installed hood tailgate and tailgate windows popped right up and stay up nice and tight. (included images.) The last image is the factory lifters I replaced. They lasted about 10 years. You can see one of the windows lifters was frozen and would not expand. Be careful if you have a frozen windows lifter because trying to open the windows could cause it to shatter.

Great product, Rear Hatch SUCKS!
Fit perfectly on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The hood and glass struts went on super easy. The rear hatch however was a chore and a half. My Wife and I could not do it together. I finally had to get a tripod stand to force the door open as far as the hinge would allow. Also beware of cross threading. Once all struts were installed they work like a dream! The only reason for the 4 start is due to the difficulty of the rear hatch installation. The products themselves work exactly as described. Strong, solid, and self lifting.

Feels like a quality product.
Great price! I replaced the factory gate & hood shocks in 2010 (7 years ago) on my 2003 Jeep WJ (when it was 7 years old).4 stars for the cheap price without a cheap feel. Hopefully, I'll still have my Jeep in another 7+ years. If so, I'll know if these outlast the OEMS that are 3 times the cost.Jeep (on the other hand) gets only 1 star for having 3 sets of support shocks with 3 different fastener types.

These struts fit my 2004 Grand Cherokee perfectly.......
Product was exactly as described and was delivered in a timely manner. The struts fit my 2004 Grand Cherokee perfectly and it took less than thirty minutes to remove and replace the struts on my rear glass, my rear lift door, and my hood. All work perfectly now. The only problem I found is that the screw head on the new struts were a bit soft and tended to round out, but if you use the correct size tool and don't try to overtighten there should be no problems.

Perfect fit for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo!
I ordered these for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and they fit like a glove. I installed them by myself in less than 30 minutes. They were the exact same size. The fitting were slightly different from the originals but it snapped right together. All I used to install these was a couple of torx bits ( I think a 35 and a 40) and a small screwdriver. The supports work great. I wish I would have replaced these sooner. Great product for the money.

Screws for the large hatch stripped far too easily
They seem to be good as far as strength, but as others have commented, the head on the screws for the large back hatch strip way too easily. If they fixed this, they would have a winner. As it is, I now have a headache to deal with when I go to replace them next time.UPDATE: the weak metal on the large back hatch gave out and they literally fell off the Jeep. Garbage.
