Mens Safari Sun Hat - Matte Toyo Straw, UPF 50+ Sun Protection Fedora Sombrero

I received the hat 24 hours ago, so I can't speak to the hat's durability but I can give my initial opinion on the hat itself. First off, I'm not normally a hat guy, but as I've aged, I've also lost some hair and because my head tends to sunburn now, I've decided to give hats a try. The size chart is way off, best I can determine. My head measures 22.75"-23" and according to the chart, I should take a Large. After reading some of the reviews that said the hats run large, I decided to go with a medium and the hat is a perfect fit. I did place one of the two provided pieces of sizing tape in the back of the hat, just to ensure the hat wouldn't fly off in a gust of wind. In the past, it's been difficult for me to find a hat that looks good on me, but surprisingly this one looks great. I'm happy so far and I hope sharing my experience with the sizing helps someone make the right choice.

A most excellent hat. It's made top notch and fits like a glove. Came boxed and fitted to the box so as to minimize any movement during shipping. Received in perfect shape. Put it on and felt that it added a tremendous amount of style to my outfit and remember I'm 71 years old so I need all the help I can get...lol. Would I buy another one in a different style or color, you betcha. Love it. Wish I'd have bought one years ago cuz ya can't beat the price.

I love this hat. I get compliments every time I wear it. It even seems people are disappointed when im not wearing the hat so obviously I'm either unattractive without the hat or dead sexy with it on. The hat has held up extremely well so far. I'm new to the fedora world so I hit the edges on stuff all the time. It hasn't frayed one bit. The hat fits perfectly. It comes in a well made cardboard box with a free sticker. I really like stickers. I will 100% buy this hat again when I wear this one out. It's unlikely I would even consider any other hat.

Came out of the box well made, well packaged, and looks great. A little tight on my head. My head size is 7-1/8”, so maybe anyone 7 or smaller would work great.

Excellent, light-weight hats. I have both colors, this one and brown. Wear them everywhere. They "jazz up" the casual attire. Coupled this hat with a light sport coat and an ascot and got lots of compliments. Update: It's crazy just how many people (men and women) give me compliments on the hat in just the last 2 months. And yet another update: Just got in another Brown one today. Haven't opened the box yet but already know it's going to be great. I'm in the process of spray painting my previous brown one black. It's coming out great. Going to make several hat bands for it.

I live in Florida and use the hat to keep the sun off my head when playing golf. It’s light weight, fits well and receives compliments from others.

A very light weight hat with a loose weave. This is not a close weave hat with the sun protection of a high quality Panama straw. It is good for a hat to wear to festivities wear you might lose the chapeaux to wind or crowds.

Fit was good. Like it bc it allows air around my hot head!
