I bought two of these- one for me and one for my youngest son. with this purchase I switched from a Mares "back-style" to this Sherwood "Jacket -style". While there are things I like better about a "Back-style"- This Sherwood Avid is a really fine BCD- plenty of lift, plenty of options for how you carry weight- for where and how you carry other gear. I used the zippered pocket to take down my cellphone/housing . Trim weight pouches on the back are really nice!.
