JD fan who loves the new JD, obv. Couple of gripes.
Nutwiisystem.Com's review pretty much covers it, but there are some things I want to add and emphasize.First of all, I've been a huge fan of JD and I've actually been kind of bummed by JD 2014 and 2015 content wise.So obviously, I'm going to like this game BUT I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up liking it! It's a new favourite, that is for sure. Lots of replay-ability, and a good majority of the choreographies are fun. It's actually kinda difficult to decide on which ones I want to dance to in my free time. Now let's get critical:I honestly thought this game was rated T. Being a visually impaired adult I don't really bother to look at ratings anymore, and JD games have generally been safe to play around impressionable children.Weeeelll. . . while certain words are censored, you can still get a pretty clear picture of what is going on when you listen to the lyrics, be it sex or objectifying people. It could fly over a kids' head much like some of Aqua's songs and "Cottoneye Joe" did when we were little, but I'm not totally sure about that.I, for one, am uncomfortable having some of the tracks play around kids, whether they understand it or not.I would advise giving the songs a listen (go to youtube or something), before getting this if it's for a child or if you're planning to play in a family setting. Decide from there!Last point is about the "Unlimited" pass. I think it's great because not all JD games are on the WiiU, and so I was looking forward to playing some old favourites! Fortunately this game comes with a 48 hr free trial! Yay! A better option, I think, than getting the "Gold Edition" and then finding out you've got issues, or don't like it as much as you thought you would.Problems I ran into, probably due to rural internet:Buffering in the middle of a songGraphics quality would get reeeeally low sometimes, to the point you can't see what is happening (but on the upside, when quality would go up, I could see the older songs got remastered! No more fuzzy dancers! )Loading seemed to take FOREVER . . . sometimes I just quit waitingComing to think of it, I'm not sure if this is a slow 'net issue, or an ubisoft server issue. . . but yeah. Free trial so you can find out. :')Update 22/03/2016:I ended up getting the unlimited pass and I've really enjoyed it for the past two months.New songs get added every so often. Some oldies and at least one newbie.I noticed the connection is the worst over the weekend and in the evenings. . . which is probably when everyone else is trying to play. Therefore if you can only play in the evening, you'll likely be dealing with ubisoft's server issues. If you can play whenever, middle of the day is good. I found mornings to be the best.

Love this version of Just Dance!
We love this version of Just Dance 2016. They have great songs AND you can control the game with your phone which I think is a great plus with the game. Our problem is our kids lose wiimotes like it’s no one’s business and then they can’t play their games then. So having this option is a HUGE plus! I wish more games had this option. My daughter loves to dance to this especially when her friends are over. They love competing for who is the best dancer. I love it because they are up and moving around instead of sitting and gaming. So if you are looking for a great game to get your kids up and moving this is a great game! Again I love that you can control it with your phone!!!

Same old goodness, wish there was a slow tutorial mode
Coming from a fan with 2014, 2015, and now 2016.Pros- Same good graphics-New menu is great-Not a fan of the new modes but I like that they are there.- Like the camera recording at the end of each song. Not really an easy sell to guests though (they think it's recorded and uploaded right away or something when it isn't, and is optionally uploaded)Cons--Having people join using your phone, I'm not a fan of. I don't think holding your phone while dancing/swinging around is a good idea at all.-Still no dance/slow tutorial mode. Would LOVE to see this feature added. Stick figures are sometimes hard to grasp what move is next. I would love an easier way to learn the dances instead of just on the fly.-Hate the paywall subscription songs being in the menu.-Had to unlock the Ubisoft coin pay songs on the computer (could not do that on the wiiU even though it suggests you can)

QUITE A WORKOUT ! I mean seriously 30 mins of this you'll end up drenched ^_^
I got this to get up off the couch, and frankly I love dancing but this is a great cardio workout. It's fun, you can do it with someone else, I think the fact you don't need to buy extra controllers because you can just use your phone is a great idea. (Works with any iphone or android smart phone).Plus it's a fun way to get your cardio in. I seriously end up sweaty, heart beating and feeling like I went for a great cardio workout after half an hour.I dont' even care about the points or the moves, it just helps to get you moving and burning some calories.Fun fun!

The Xbox version is so much better. This has the very fake looking forward facing ...
We are a huge fan of these games (2 adults, 9 year old and 12 year old), but this one didn't do it for us. The Xbox version is so much better. This has the very fake looking forward facing dancers and seems very old and not up to date with the rest.

Get some of your sanity back!
My daughter saw this somewhere. I forget where she first got hooked on it. Actually, I'm the one they really caught. She has all of the past ones, so I guess I should have known this would make her Christmas list. I must say this usually brings our family together. Usually my daughter is fighting with her brothers about something or the other. Now, they all enjoy singing, shouting and fooling around together. My wife and I love to see them so happy together. Of course, when the game goes off, the peace goes with it. I can't say it's a fix all but with 3 children ages 12, 10 and 9 I'll take all the peace I can get.

love it
My daughter and I love this game. We love all of the Just Dance games. It has some good songs, and we enjoy dancing to them. Sorry, no video or pictures of that, haha. It comes with a free trial to get other songs, but we haven't used that yet. I'm sure once we do and my daughter sees all of the songs, I will be wishing I got the more expensive copy with more songs. This one will work just fine though. If you want a great way to get your heart pumping, I highly recommend this game!
