I've been using this for several years now for core work. (planks, bird dogs, etc.)A great "cushion" feel, and it's still in great shape -- it hasn't frayed at all.

This mat is exactly what I was looking for - slightly longer and wider than the standard mat. This size is hard to find and this one performs really well. If you like a thicker mat, go for the 3/5" thickness. It provides superior support and absorbs some of the impact to protect your joints. It does not slip and is not slippery. This mat is big enough that I no longer step off the mat during exercises. I did not notice any particular smell from it. The only annoying feature is the loud squeak it makes when I push off hard on the balls of my feet, for example when I do burpees. This is because of the finish on the surface of the mat. However, I believe the finish gives it more durability so the material does not crack over time with use. I highly recommend this mat. It appears to be of very high quality.

This is an excellent yoga mat, especially for those who may need extra cushion and support to do yoga or exercise. I love the thickness, the width, the length and the comfort of the mat. I did have an issue with the odor, but I realize it may have been an issue on my part. I am sensitive to smells, and although I gave it two weeks to let the odor dissipate, it was still a big problem for me. I reached out to the seller, and they immediately apologized that the mat did not meet my expectations and issued a full refund. I had read through all of the reviews before purchasing the mat, and the odor issue did not seem to be a problem for others, so even though it did not work for me, I still highly recommend this yoga mat. I also recommend the sellers and appreciate the fact they stand behind their product.

Since the start of the Rona I have been doing Pilates via Zoom with the studio I belong to and was using a traditional yoga mat. I kept thinking it would only be temporary so didn’t want to invest in any gear for home. This is a nice upgrade. It’s thick and cushy and much better for my knees. Seems to be decent quality. I’ve only used it twice since receiving a few days ago so time will tell. I am a bit concerned to see small pinhole like defects in the surface that must be from manufacturing. Hoping these don’t accelerate a disintegration in the surface with frequent use. I love that it is longer than the standard mat since I’m tall and usually my legs hang off the edge of my old one. Also like that it’s wider so that when I do certain positions I’m not laying partially on the floor. Overall, seems like a good, thick mat.

Have been using 5-6 times a week for yoga, stretching and strength workouts for about 2 months. Great mat overall. What I like: extra thickness (3/5) provides great cushioning for kneeling positions (even with overhead weights), extra width is great, and after a few hours airing outside out of the package, it really does not smell at all (and I am pretty sensitive to smells). Grip is really good as long as it’s pretty dry. One caveat, it does get a bit slicker if wet, e.g. for a down dog stretch with sweaty hands, I really have to dig my palms in to prevent sliding. Really only effects me when stretching after spinning, so I didn’t detract a lot for that, but others may find this annoying.

I'm a tall guy with broad shoulders and standard sized yoga mats are never big enough. The size of this one is perfect! I can stretch out and still be on the mat.Also, I generally find traditional yoga mats useless because aside from providing a non-slip surface, they aren't good for much else. This mat provides a non slip surface, a large surface area, enough thickness to also provide some comfort, AND it DOESN'T STINK!I was prepared to have to leave this outside for a few days to off-gas, but that hasn't been a problem. There was a mild smell initially, but it didn't smell super toxic or strong, and was completely gone in a few days.Love. This. Mat!

I have recently taken up yoga, and had been using a friend's mats, really expensive mats, and they all killed my knees and bones. I was folding up blankets and towels trying to get comfortable.Then I got this mat and it's like doing yoga on a cloud!!It's puffy and soft, but has a solid core so the support you need is there.It's also huge! Which might be bad for going to a class but it's great for being at home, and being able to fully stretch out and never run out of mat.It had a chemical smell right out of the box, but I just let it sit out for a day and that faded.

This thing is massive! My four year old will sometimes lay down at one end while I work out! I do yoga and Pilates on my hard wood floor in the basement. This mat makes it feel like I’m working out on clouds. So thick and comfy. It doesn’t slip on the floor at all either. Stays in place the whole time. If I’m sweaty, it is really hard to keep myself from slipping on the mat, but I can lay down a towel on top of the mat and it will not move which solves the problem. It’s a high price point, but I think it’s worth it. I’ve only used it a few times, so hopefully the quality will hold up. Would recommend!

If you are looking for the most comfortable yoga mat; you have found it! My wife and I have been searching for a while and this product is unbelievable. Super soft, yet supportive. The extra large size fits my larger frame perfectly. The carrying case is vented to allow proper drying and airing after your workout. We were very pleased that the material did not release nautious gases at all. I would highly recommend this mat to anyone who wants a great product.

Bought in Mar 21, so now reviewing after 16 months. I use this daily for around an hour each day and it still looks virtually new.Exceptional product.

During the pandemic, we tried to keep ourselves in shape.We used this mat to do our workouts on to not disturb our neghbors. The mat is very thick, so it absorbs a lot of noise and weight.Very comfortable to step on and it's big enough to strech even if I'm a 6 footer. Good stuff!

This is the perfect yoga / Pilates mat, especially if you have back problems, as it is thick but firm and very supportive when doing the exercises. It doesn’t move around or curl up when laid flat.
