I found the Bioptrons to be extremely effective for accelerating healing, ameliorating many skin problems, reducing joint pain, and neutralizing insect bites. Buy one if at all possible! That said, however, I would nonetheless observe that each successive generation of this consumer-level-model Bioptron has become more expensive, thus putting it financially out of reach for many. That is unfortunate.
