X-ActoFBA XZ3601 Z Series #1 Precision Knife with Cap 3 Pack

Came in sealed clear bag with three individually packaged knives with clear cap. "Made In China". Model XZ3601.Haven't had a chance to use them yet for stencil cutting.

I ordered the "X-ACTO XZ3601 Z Series #1 PRECISION Knife with Cap 3 Pack" and I am disappointed. Either I am a complete idiot and do not understand the meaning of the words "3 pack" or this is mis-labeled or intentionally mis-leading, because the title implies that one is ordering and will receive 3 identical items sold as a pack of three. I received only one knife. The knife is okay, but it feels loose. I really would hate to think that the seller thinks a handle, cap and blade are three individual and unrelated items to be treated as 3 separate purchases or worse, that they think that I do. Traditionally, when purchasing an X-acto Knife, one has the option of purchasing a knife, which automatically includes one blade, attached to the handle, because what would be the point otherwise? And it is often, though not always, accompanied by a removable cap. One can also purchase extra blades separately, but I have never been charged for three individual items, nor was it ever implied that it was a set or pack of three. AM I BEING PUNKED??? Not okay. I know this sounds pissy, but I am very tired of getting screwed on purchases, by sellers on Amazon, because the photos or discriptions suggested one thing and reality was very different.

the blade itself is very sharp, the knife is easy to hold and works great! My only issue was that when I cut something thick like cardboard or plastic, the blade would often fall out of the knife and the top would come unscrewed. I bought two more knives after the fact that seemingly work fine. Overall a good product

My 36" vinyl cutter came with an off-brand Xacto knife, and the blades did not stick all the way down the locking mechanism. The last time I used that, I cut myself changing the blade. I bled for 45 minutes. So I tossed it, and ordered REAL Xacto knives and #11 blades, the ones I grew up using as a graphic artist in the 70s and 80s, before personal computing became the norm for graphic artists. Haven't cut myself since. That is a glowing recommendation.

It's ok. Bought some to cut snowflakes. If you are slicing a single sheet of paper - these will get the job done no problem. If you have to cut through multiple layers of paper, or are using thicker stock paper with intricate detailing, these will struggle. Broke the tip off during the first use while trying to cut intricate details and some of the edges were frayed - I included pictures to show what I was working on using standard paper and the fraying.

This little gadget is SHARP!! Whether you are doing crafts or just opening boxes, this is the tool for you. It easily, and very precisely, cuts through paper and tape like you wouldn't believe. This is definitely a MUST BUY brand.

These little razor pencils are great to have around a shop when doing meticulous cutting. A box knife is nice, but these are so much easier to control and handle for small jobs. Great price, great product, will buy again.
