Better than their CTX
ScanPan’s best nonstick so far. Beats their CTX every day, all day long. I have both; prefer the durability, easier clean up and the looks of the HaptIQ.

My favorite non-stick pan, by far.
I really hesitated on this purchase... It's a REALLY expensive non-stick pan... And since non-stick isn't an heirloom product like Cast Iron or even Stainless Steel, I hate the idea of spending so much on a pan that will need to be replaced in a few years.First: some background... I cook daily, and geek out on equipment. I have a selection of cast iron pans (lodge, utopia, finex), enameled cast iron (le creuset, lodge), non-stick (calphalon), high carbon steel (mauviel and BK), and stainless (all-clad). In other words, I own and use a LOT of pans. With that said, for truly non-stick purposes, and convenience, this is one of my favorite pans in the house now. And THAT is saying something!Longevity: It's nice that it's titanium ceramic ("stratanium") and they claim it will last for many years more than a normall non-stick. We shall see.High Heat: Because there's no teflon, this can be heated to a HIGH temperature (600 degrees) and thus can be used to sear, without concerns of toxic fumes/particles. It can be thrown into the oven as well, which is really nice.Non-Stick: This pan is absolutely non-stick like you dream about. A tiny bit of butter, and my omlettes release and slide around in the pan with no issue at all. A quick wipe and the whole pan is clean. This is SO great for eggs, sauteeing veggies, etc. Really enjoying the very high performance non-stick properties.Handling: The pan is HEAVY - and this is a good thing. It is sold, and heats evenly, which is exactly what you want. It's not heavy on the level of a cast iron pan, but it's definitely got heft to it, which means that it heats very evenly, and feels nice in the hand. The hanlde itself is very ergonomic, and the slopes to the sides of the pan are steep enough to give a good amount of flat frying space, while being JUST right for pan tossing food (thus, sautee).I'm seriously considering buying a second one of these, and just throwing out my previous set of (perfectlly serviceable) non-stick pans. They're that good. The 11" pan is an incredible deal right now, (currently $99) and it's a perfect size for sauteeing veggies, cooking several eggs, or making a nice omelet. Get it. Don't look back.

I never cook with oil & this makes it easy
I eat plant-based diet without any oil. I have eaten this way for 4 years and use veggie broth in lieu of oil to cook. Today was a make it/break it test: hash browns & a veggie patty. Wow! I keep waiting for something to stick. Never happened. Crispy food. I cleaned the pan immediately because I want to honor this absolute blessing. I bought size 11” & am glad I did since I can multitask in one pan.

One amazing pan
I love to cook. I also very rarely write reviews. This is hands down the best, most impressive cookware item in my entire kitchen. I am so spoiled by this pan that I can’t think of buying any other pan in the future. I have put this pan through rigors I have never tried on previous pans - straight to dishwasher, used with metal utensils, deep fried battered cutlets. It has excelled every time and my recipes come out perfectly. Even basic routine cooking - breakfast scrambled eggs - are a pleasure. I’m always amazed at how little butter I need to use. And there’s not a spot of egg left on the pan. I’m in love with this pan...

Wonderful pans
These HaptIQ pans work beautifully on induction cooktops. The surface is safe for metal utensils and perfectly non-stick. I purchased these additional pans after using my first pan as a test for six months. I am lo longer concerned about scratching a non-stick pan or having the material wear off and leave chemical material in my food. We have multiple cooks in the kitchen and so nice to not have to be concerned if someone serves from the pan with a metal spoon or stacks a frypan in the cabinet without a requisite papertowel in between to protect the non-stick. It's a joy to cook when there are multiple cooks in the kitchen at different levels of being cautious.

Much improved Scanpan - I do not recommend the classic version
I previously bought the Scanpan Classic series. One of the pans that I use very often did not hold up well at all (see photo), despite my following the guidance provided with the product. It still is non-stick but it is definitely not aging well. In contrast, the ScanPan HaptIQ pan that I bought more recently is much, much better - surface is more resilient, easier to clean (as is the aluminum exterior), and heat distribution is excellent.

Surface failure after 8 months
I reheated white rice in the pan and noticed black specks that shouldn’t be there. Upon closer inspection it was apparent that the surface coating had bubbled up in several areas of the pan. The pan had been used infrequently and only hand washed. The Scanpan website states that returns will only be honored for products purchased directly from the company.

Awesome nonstick pan with searing ability
Best non-stick pan I owned to date and I've owned some expensive too brands. This one does a great job at searing because of the raised "Haptic" surface area but still releases food with ease. Fried eggs are so simple with this pan as are seared scallops.Best of both worlds.
