I love this leash, with the shortened handle and the comfortable grip. Not only is is very bright and fun but it’s east to grip and is plenty strong for our puller!

Alright, I have a 140lb Rottweiler that has gone through all sorts of leashes. The second handle is a most for him because squirrels are a weakness for my guy. If he's allowed a step, your going for a ride. This has been the longest lasting leash with the comfy second handle. The bag holder is cheap and broke, but I mean, I figured it would be lol.

I have a 35 lb young highly energetic dog that probably could pull a dogsled so I've been looking for a strong leash that won't hurt my hands. This rope leash fills the bill well. Very sturdy rope with a cushioned handle and a second cushioned handle at the right length for a traffic lead. The lead is long enough for a comfortable walk but not long enough for the dog to get a running start at pulling. The one minus is that the rubber covers protecting the places where the rope is joined - like the base of the handles - are not secured so they often slide up the rope exposing the joins. Doesn't affect the usability of the leash - just annoying. Have used the leash for a couple of weeks and it shows no signs of wear so I think this one will be around for quite awhile.

The leash has a bit of bounce to it and is working well with our “heel” training because it’s not such a hard pull, but a little reminder that he’s getting ahead too far. Comfortable handle and love the option for a tighter hold with the second handle. Some people might find that extra handle loop clunky on walks with a small dog, but it’s great for us to get more control with our sturdy, sometimes stubborn guy.

I like the extra handle for better control. Plus, it's situated higher up on the leash which is great for tall folks.

Great to keep your dog sturdy and close to you out walking. Especially when they spot their prey a squirrel or a cat and begin to pull you to run after it. You now have better control of them using it. Keeping them where they belong on a good walk. Not getting tugged chasing their prey.

Update: since I wrote the review below, all of the padding on the second handle has fallen off & threading has started to loosen more. I wrote this review less then a week ago & purchased this on Nov 3. I took off another star because I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to purchase another leash as this one seems to be falling apart quite quickly.I was happy when I started using this leash. I prefer leashes have the second handle (or "traffic handle" as I have heard it called) since sometimes I need to keep our dog a little closer. The second handle had the same padding as the top handle. Leash is sturdy & clip is strong. But I've had it just over a month ( bought Nov 3) and the padding on the second handle is already starting to separate & threads are coming loose on he leash. I can still use it but I was a little disappointed it's already started to fall apart after just over a month

The lead is made with thick rope and the extra handle is a good feature to handle your buddy. I would only change the placement of the lower handle. I like a it to be close to the body of my dog.
